Whether it’s Pep’s rotation, Jonty’s runaway facial hair or a rogue horse in Andy’s front garden, the ScoutCast crew are decidedly spooked in this week’s Halloween episode.

Downed by a bout of Labyrinthitis – which is as nasty as it sounds – I’m forced to duck out as Jonty, Andy, Granville and Az run riot.

Your community questions help to keep them in check, forcing the quartet to once again assess City rotation, while giving views on Chelsea’s big-hitters, a Foxes revival and a slew of budget defenders.

Jonty rolls out his “ghouls imminent” table, while Andy unknowingly mocks my affliction from afar with back-to-back ear puns; in between they preview the weekend’s action to reveal their captain and transfer picks.

    Was thinking of doing Jesus & Choupo-Moting > Abraham & Salah for -4 but thinking of just saving for this week.

    With Jesus being benched midweek every chance he will start:

      Think either route look fine tbh. I'd personally prefer to take the hit as Salah is just a better option than Jesus, and it seems a good fixture to make the move in

        I'm 50/50 on it. is Salah going to cover the -4 hit? Chances are if I don't make the move this week I'll do them for a free next week.

        Would also have a bench problem if I did the moves, who to bench Naughton, Richarlison or Abraham.

          Yeah, it's a tough one. If you want Salah in, I'd advise getting him now. More than likely you'll want to do something else next week, and need a hit regardless

        I'll wait till Poch presser O'Day and wait for confirmation if so I'll consider the -4 but it means taking Lukaku or Aguero out and I'd want to keep Kaku for the upcoming fixtures and Aguero against ARS this GW tough call thanks for the reply

          Who to take out is the tough decision and waiting for the presser is sensible. I would transfer out kaku, yeah you want him later and can always get him back. There is very few players currently that you really don’t want to be without and Kane is one of them.

          He killed me in the sky game, which is a different format, but the ownership/captain/fixture in a week where there is few matching options. There is weeks to role the dice, this isn’t one

      You give yourself that headache with a premium keeper. Would be playing Elliot this week if it was my choice. Last week was a toss a coin, if in doubt would be going home keeper especially when the Kane out news was available.

      Daniels and Ward is a tough one. Would go Daniels over Ward but couldn’t argue the other way round

      Already did Morata to Kane as I got Morata in last week to cover Kane. Contemplating Hazard to Alli due to Mou's tactics and after Chelsea's midweek fiasco... Could Alli outscore Hazard by over 4 though?

      Strong team. Personally feel morata and hazard is overkill. Chelsea have a great run, but something wrong in the dressing room. I'd swap hazard for salah or morata to kaku

      If you think Daniels could be a great shout now I agree, definitely considering him and it's worth a punt BUTTTT everyone talking about fixtures should know it's their form that has been the problem and could still be.

      They've had 10 games and 6 of those have already been against teams that aren't the best (Leicester, Brighton, Everton, Stoke etc)

          He's 4.8. Doesn't matter how bad their fixtures or form is, 4.8 for a defender who has shown consistent attacking potential over the past 3 seasons is an absolute bargain.

          Bournemouth are improving too.

            I currently have Lacazette but due to his poor form and fixtures want to drop him, Kola and Davies for Kane and two cheaper defenders. If I remove one defender I have just 4.3 mil to play with. Worth switching all 3 for the 8 point hit?

                Hey pal, if in doubt i normally look at Paddy Power odds for clean sheets and go with the lowest odds DF. Doesn't always work but I reckon over the course of a year the bookies always win 🙂
