We delve into the Opta data now with our usual post-Gameweek members’ article, focusing on a case of standout performers across the previous round of fixtures.

Arsenal’s attack comes under scrutiny ahead of favourable festive fixtures, while Chelsea’s midfield man of the moment puts in another outstanding shift.

We also check out Man City’s super-sub, the Potters’ playmaker and the impact of Claude Puel on Jamie Vardy’s goal potential.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Foolishly didn't look at price changes last night and made myself £0.1m short..

    Looking at doing:
This week: Vardy + Zaha --> Hazard + Quamer (2FT)
Next week: Eliot + Carroll --> Speroni + RLC (-4)

Means I will play 442 this week with Naughton:

    Foster
    Mustafi - Christensen - Otamendi - Naughton
    Salah - Sterling - Richarlson - Hazard
    Kane - Morata

    (Eliot - Carroll, Quamer, Long)

And then switch back to 352 next week. Make sense?

I'm planning to bring in Vardy and Zaha this week. I think they are both important players for their teams and they will play in most of the matches this month. So keep!
Otherwise, wait to see who's playing in European Cups with low chances to start in the next GW.

      Maybe.

Kane has good form as usual but we only see FPL form and (c) fails.

As far as Poch goes and real world form he has scored in three of his last four games which is just fine. I do like Lacazette though.

This is a poor change in my opinion and I'm almost certain you will regret it. Besides the fact that you have potentially given yourself the inconvenience of getting him back in for the DGW when you probably could be looking at further Spurs/West Ham coverage.

But then, judging by this move, I doubt you're even aware of the DGW at all.

Nice comment. I'll assess the dbl gameweek nearer the time and will get Kane, or whatever other players i fancy for that one.

I may regret it, but following my gut.

          Fair enough, I respect that.

But as I've mentioned below, all it takes is for a mini injury crisis or a bigger fire to put out elsewhere in your squad and suddenly, getting Kane/whoever back in is not as easy you thought it would be.

The most amount of care needs to be taken with changes at this period of the year.

On the basis he doesn't perform v Stoke and Brighton and have no other concerns elsewhere in your Team, you mean.

You won't be selling if he hauls in both games. City's defence is not solid by any means.

Still a wasted change and certainly not an economical one, However you try and convince yourself.

A and C, hello? Naughton and swansea are so pants even a conference team could score against them. And he is zero attacking, and Moreno very likely to keep cleanie and Daniels a little less but is so dangerous going forward he is bound to get attacking points soon.

Hello. I don't think it's a no-brainer to play Daniels over Naughton. Naughton scooped full bonus points in his last home fixture; Swansea only conceded once against Chelsea; Swansea are 10th in the CS table this season. I'd say it was more of a coin flip.

Do these transfers look good? Had a few disastrous weeks in my mini league.

    Pope Elliott
    Mustafi Daniels Otamendi Mariappa Hegazy
    Sane Salah Richarlison Ritchie Carroll

    Pope (Elliot)
    Vert, Mustafi, Moreno (naughton, Long)
    Alli, Sterling, Salah, Richarlison, Gross
    Kane, Morata (DCL)

    Thinking of doing either:

    A. Alli and Vert to Hazard and Sakho
    B. Alli and Mustafi to Hazard and 4.6 (Kiko? Tarkowksi?)
    C. Alli and Moreno to Coutinho and Otamendi
