The curtain comes down on the second of four quick-fire festive Gameweeks this evening as Crystal Palace welcome Arsenal to Selhurst Park.

Up against the only side yet to keep a clean sheet in front of their own fans, the Gunners’ Alexandre Lacazette is the tenth top captain pick for Gameweek 20, handed the armband by 2.1% of Fantasy Premier League managers.

Having found the net in each of the last two, Mesut Ozil is the visitors’ form player, though Alexis Sanchez was back on the scoresheet against Liverpool last time out.

Both are owned by just 2% and could prove big differentials this evening.

Tonight’s teamsheet brings good news for the 11% still holding Sead Kolasinac, as he returns to the starting XI for the first time in four Gameweeks as the visitors revert to a wing-back set-up

The hosts, meanwhile, welcome back Christian Benteke from suspension. He bagged a goal and assist in his previous league appearance away to Swansea to hint at a return to form, though it’s Wilfried Zaha who has been the Eagles’ most impressive attacker of late.

Stationed up top in a front two, he has scored or assisted in five of his six home matches since returning from injury.

That output has been key to a run that’s seen Palace score two goals in each of the last six at Selhurst Park and could prove pivotal against an Arsenal rearguard with just two clean sheets in six on the road.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Hard to see All of them being rested but enough doubt to make my doubt them as caption options. ..sane (c)?

I would be pretty comfortable captaining all of them more than Sane. If they don't start they'll be unlikely to come on as their teams all have winnable fixtures. Sane just looks terrible at the moment and I'd be most worried about his minutes

Who is best as an “8th fwd/mid”?
    A. Crouch (4.9, playing lately, occasional goal)
    B. Quaner (4.6, played last 3, occasional assist)

I might need one to play this week if Christensen and Cout are both out

    FPL musings...

Pretty happy this week. 95 pts. Gone from 97k to 54k. Ready for an assault on the top 50k.

Thinking of Morata (C) this week. At home vs Stoke with their cobbled together defence, surely the goals will flow?

Kane TC for the DGW? Very tempting. Won't be many better times to play it surely. I do normally keep it up my sleeve until later in the season though.

What to do with Richarlison? One more game then ditch? For who?

    1. Sims
      • 9 Years
      8 years, 6 months ago

The fact hat I'll already have triple spurs attack is putting me off kane TC, plus games being so close together

If kane explodes, eriksen and alli will probably get very good scores too

I'm captaining Hazard, if I had Morata instead of Hazard I would captain him as well. Think they will hammer Stoke. As for Kane TC I'm not sure, not much recovery after the first match. Richarlison > Lingard maybe?

What to expect from Carlos Carvahal tomorrow?

He used to be a defender, I have checked Sheffield Wednesday 2016 season.

They haven't allowed more than 2 goals per match in the whole season.

This could put me off to TC Harry, lets see what they are going to do tomorrow but I would expect them to tight up.

His first 2 games in August 2016 were against Aston Villa at home- 1:0, second game away to Norwich 0:0.

He was appointed sheff wed manager in June 2015 so surely his first two game's in charge are more relevant? 2-0 Bristol City and 1-2 Ipswich. But even then its a completely different situation, he had a pre season and a transfer window before the start of the season.

Its an odd appointment as Swansea have just sealed there relegation. He's a frustrating manager he'll win game's not expected to but lose easy ones. Known to be a bit defensive, huddlesfield away in the play offs case in point
