I thought that but I don't think he will drop Rooney which means Siggy can't move over into the number 10 as Rooney will be occupying it which may mean rotation for the wing position.

Hmmmm possibly. Not convinced but I think this the most likely scenario. It will either go very well or very badly. Could be worth keeping an eye on Siggy and Walcott then.

He won't play Rooney as one of only two CMs. He can't. So I think it will be a mix and match of Bolasie or Siggy on the left, Rooney or Siggy at 10, and the Walcott or any of the above one the right. Lookman, it seems, can bring a book to read. Three spots, four players plus occasional other subs. It's all a bit Meh for me, and I speak as a Toffee.
He could also go 4-3-3, in which case Rooney could occupy one of the middle 3 spots with, say, Gana and McCarthy, leaving the other 4 (with Tosun) to occupy the front three. Either way, someone ain't playing.

Let's talk formation. At the moment I think most people are doing 442, 352 or 451. I am debating going back to an old school 343 with Vardy, Firmino and Kane up front, a midfield of Salah and Sterling and a defence of Alonso and Otamendi. Given the fixtures of Leicester and Liverpool now, this could pay off but there is certainly a lot of value in the midfield and defender sections of players at the moment so I am not sure how it would pan out. Destined to fail or getting ahead of the curve? Any opinions?

I agree but there is a general template that people either copy from better players, stumble across or mastermind themselves. At the moment that is a 5 man midfield, typically. I remember after the DGW people were posting their teams and they were all more or less identical. Also, almost identical to mine.
Just check how Vardy is performing in "easier" games.
You may want to reconsider his place in your set up.

I was debating Aguero but I am just not sure if he is worth the 11.7m this season. His next two are very appealing though.......
yeah I'll get rid as soon as Jesus returns, plenty of cheaper midfielders to enable him - you could argue Arnie, Lingard, maybe Ox are some of the best options right now anyway regardless of price
