As we enter the final ten Gameweeks of the season, finding ways to differentiate our sides from those our rivals around us becomes more and more difficult to achieve.

With a combined eight midfielders and forwards boasting an ownership of over 20% within the top 10,000 managers, and the Gameweek 31 blank promoting assets with guaranteed fixtures that weekend, many of us now appear to have converged upon a similar squad structure.

In such a circumstance, the decision of captaincy allocation – that ever-crucial decision to a manager’s Gameweek – becomes magnified in its importance.

Last week saw an incredible 91% of top-10k managers place the armband onto either Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah or Spurs’ Harry Kane. Salah held a convincing lead over his rival in terms of backers (73.7% vs 17.6%) and though both players provided goals, it was the Egyptian who ultimately emerged victorious with a haul of 10 points to Kane’s six.

Looking forward, however, who do the numbers support as our prime captaincy option over the final few Gameweeks of the season?

Pitch wise yes, it's the health and safety for supporters that will kill the games

Aye, I wasn't even thinking of the pitch. that's not even a consideration. I think the games will all go ahead regardless, they have plenty of time to make arrangements to increase safety.

i think these things have a sort of contagion about them. when one thing gets cancelled, there's a sort of "snowball effect", and everything ends up being cancelled. like the guy making the call becomes fearful, thinking he's the only guy not cancelling, and it will look worse for him if something happens.

I'm in exactly the same position. Think Son will start, 66 mins played so surely he plays on Saturday now. I was all set on selling for Mahrez and have .7 itb ready to make the move but am seriously considering rolling transfer now and using it for a GW31 player instead. A few days left to think it through.

Think he’s more than 75% to start. One rest after playing 13 matches dosen’t mean your’re not no 1 any more. His competitors still have a way to go.

I asked earlier but there's few more of yoi about so i'll try again...

Anyone know the answer to this? Going around on watsapp and reddit...i dont have the solution...its NOT TORRES apparantly.

I played with Sergio Ramos, not Cristiano.

I played with Iniesta, not Messi.

I played with Suarez, not Cavani.

I played David Luiz, not Neymar.

I played with Lampard, not Hazard.

I played under Mourinho and Rafa Benitez.

    I still play.

Could be a Christiano other than Cr7.
Could be Denis Suarez not biter.
