The Premier League have belatedly revealed a number of rescheduled fixtures to confirm Double Gameweek 34.

However, the news is not quite what many had anticipated, with only eight teams set to play twice.

Indeed, just one of the matches postponed in Gameweek 31 due to FA Cup matches – Burnley vs Chelsea – has so far been rescheduled.

This is joined by three matches shifted out of Gameweek 35 for similar reasons – Brighton vs Spurs, Bournemouth vs Man United and Leicester vs Southampton.

Essentially, then, the eight sides facing a Double Gameweek 34, and their subsequent schedules, are as follows.

Confirmed Double Gameweek 34 schedule
Bournemouth (liv MUN)
Brighton (cry TOT)
Burnley (LEI CHE)
Chelsea (sot bur)
Leicester (bur SOT)
Man United (WBA bou)
Southampton (CHE lei)
Spurs (MCI bha)

Of the eight, Burnley are the only side to play two home matches in this round.

Up against Leicester and Chelsea at Turf Moor in Gameweek 34, though, Sean Dyche’s men hardly have it easy. Indeed, they are one of three teams – along with Bournemouth and Southampton – to face top eight opponents on both occasions.

However, Burnley are the only Double Gameweek 34 outfit to also play in Gameweek 35, when they make their way to Stoke.

Meanwhile, Man United are the only side to go up against opponents outwith the top eight, while just one team – Chelsea – hit the road on two occasions.

As a result of today’s announcement, the following matches still require a new date.

Chelsea vs Huddersfield
Leicester vs Arsenal
Man City vs Brighton
Swansea vs Southampton
Tottenham vs Newcastle
West Ham vs Man United

The Premier League have confirmed that these will be rescheduled by Tuesday April 3 – before Gameweek 33 – though it is anticipated that 12 teams will now face a Double Gameweek 37.

We will have more reaction and analysis of the implications on today’s announcement later, with a series of articles over the next week ahead of the Gameweek 32 deadline on Saturday March 31.

IM on wc but no FH, i still have BB

Who should I target really? Need big advice here.

Burnley are the only team that have 34 double + game in 35.
Looks like you'll need to strike a balance.

why not BB since there are more double games on 34 than on 37, plus there isnt a reliable captain other than Lukaku?

    How's this wildcard shaping up?

    De Gea, Fabianski
    Alonso, Morgan, Robertson, Lowton, Tarkowski
    Salah, Son, Mahrez, Willian, Cork
    Firmino, Vardy, Lukaku

Will bench boost in 34 to take advatange of the double and good Liverpool fixture, FH in 35 and then TC in 37.

They do have a double in 37 and a fairly good fixture in 34 though. Could swap Fab to maybe Ryan actually.

I was thinking too about saving SWA on my WC, it would be much easier later with dgw 37. Not full potential out of gw 34 but later on just get some City and Kane, maybe even without hits get ready for dgw 37.

Thinking about it I will play De Gea in 37 anyway so I don't need to worry about a goalkeeper that week. Ryan looks good to play in 33 when United have City away and then on the bench boost for 34.

For those who have used the FH but still have WC BB & TC, what are your plans? Mine was to WC 33, BB 34 and TC 37. Now I'm thinking TC 33, WC 35 and BB 37, good plan?

I mean, the way they've moved the fixtures is so no team actually has a pair of good matches.

Have three bournemouth players and not another player with a double in 34

Three weeks of transfers, Three 4 point hits to bring the best in will give 9 doublers. Not ideal but probably better to keep wildcard for the big one

Big late to get much long term benefit from a wildcard but that the dumb chips that cause these issues. The bench boost is so powerful wildcard has to be played around it

Problem is will then have to use triple capt in 34. Sanchez or Lukaku I guess

Other big issue is that by gw 37 a lot of teams will have little to play for and may rotate heavily. It all a bit of a mess

Agree with a few other posts on the last page about the merits of certain Burnley and Brighton assets - can see a template involving 3 of Ryan/Duffy/Dunk/Gross/Murray and Tarkowski, Lowton and Barnes. 6 very reasonable enablers.

I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised to see no clean sheets for either teams and so a lot of disappointing scores.

It’s fine with the risk spread and a defender from each. Having doubles of each in defence is not ideal imo but can’t see an alternative if you want 15 DGW still

This is my new WC team (I still have the FH available):

      DDG, Ryan
Alonso plus 4 cheapies (Tarkowski, Lowton, Morgan and Dunk)
      Salah, Mahrez, Son, Willian, Gross
      Auba, Firmino, Barnes

Save transfer next week, then do Aubameyang and Firmino > Lukaku and Vardy GW34. Decent strategy from an albeit initial look.

I'd be very careful about suddenly ditching Auba from your teams. For me I'm keeping him until the double then shipping for Vardy. Only change for me is I was leaving my 2 FTs pre double in case of injuries, I'll just have to plan to use them and keep fingers crossed now

Hello guys how are you? RMWCT. I seem to have a smaller value than everyone else with 0 ITB.

    DDG, Ryan

    Tarkowski, Alonso, Lowton, Dummet, Chilwell

    Mahrez, Son, Willian, Salah, King

    Lukaku, Auba, Barnes

    I plan to B.B 34, FH 35, TC 37.
