Our series of members’ Monitor articles on Wildcard targets continues this evening with an analysis of Chelsea’s in-demand Willian.

The third most bought midfielder in Fantasy Premier League’s (FPL) ahead of Gameweek 32, the Brazilian, along with team-mate Eden Hazard, has been in fine recent form ahead of a favourable run-in that also includes an expected pair of Double Gameweeks.

With this in mind, coverage of the Chelsea attack appears a promising strategy over the season’s final weeks, yet with doubts over the forward set-up, many managers are looking to the midfield for a solution.

    Those last 6 GW stats and the per-90 stats don't tally for Hazard. He's got a low xG than Willian in total but despite playing more time seems to have a higher xGper90 stat.

          Most are involved in 34 anyway, so will have to fix for that if something happens, and with FH 35 its only 1 GW in between really.

      Definitely the most popular option - but there are plenty of other options.

      I favour WC32, FH34, TC Salah, BB37.

      Ultimately though, the best choice will be determined by the players you have, the players you want, your team value and your attitude to risk.

      Plus how much planning you are willing to do.

      Personally, I've went with Vardy, Auba & Lukaku. Yes my defence is slightly weak but Lukaku I think is a must for GW32 & GW34, Vardy has solid fixtures including a good double GW and Auba has cracking fixtures in both GW32&33. So if Kane is fit I'll swap out Auba plus another for him in GW34 however if I'm not convinced I won't bother.
