The first of a rapid-fire pair of Double Gameweeks is now finally upon us, and brings with it an opportunity for diligent managers to make up considerable ground upon less-prepared rivals.

The four extra fixtures also offer the opportunity to deploy one of their potentially game-changing chips, with many now stuffing their benches with Double Gameweek assets ahead of a weekend Bench Boost.

With this in mind, this week’s Technical Area is dedicated to identifying the ultimate Gameweek 34 Bench Boost side, as recommended by Fantasy Football Scout’s own Rate My Team (RMT) tool.

In addition, we also sprinkle in some standalone statistical and eye-test observations of recent form for the key assets involved.

      Suppose it's more about what kind of team you'll have in the other remaining weeks.

      People without a FH are at a real disadvantage for GW35 because a full compliment of 15 DGW players will pretty much leave with 3 to play in 35 if you have the Burnley trio.

      Slim pickings for me truth be told - will be going ahead this week with Ryan, Van Aanholt, Mili and Kiko.

      It's a nice team - but you have uneneccesary money sitting on your bench.

      Convert that bench to 3.9, 3.9, 3.9 and Romeu/King (4.2) and you'll have a little bit more money to play with....

        But there is a good point there - you are going to have to pack your team with differentials to the leader. Having the same players isn't going to win anything....

      This has been driving me mad all day - probably not, but I'll punt on him on my Free Hit this week.

      United's best creator at the moment, but very limited goal threat. Pogba is creating little but is registering more shots than Lukaku.

      Perhaps the question should be extended to Lukaku as well.....?
