The first of four remaining Double Gameweek 34 fixtures gets underway at 7.45pm as Brighton welcome Spurs to the Amex Stadium.

After a hugely underwhelming start to his pair of fixtures in Saturday’s home loss to Man City, Harry Kane has the chance to atone against a Seagulls’ defence without a clean sheet in their last 12 attempts.

The Spurs striker was second only to Mohamed Salah by the narrowest of margins (18.28% vs 18.32%) for the armband, while over 71,000+ have played their Triple Captain chip as he looks to chase down the Liverpool winger in the race for the Golden Boot.

Kane starts this evening along with Christian Eriksen, while Son Heung-min returns to the teamsheet after featuring off the bench at the weekend.

Boasting a 17% ownership, the South Korean has four goals and an assist in his last four league starts. Along with another of tonight’s starters, Serge Aurier, he was on the scoresheet in a 2-0 win at Wembley when the two sides last met in Gameweek 17.

But Dele Alli owners are left with just a two-point haul from Double Gameweek 34, as the midfielder is left out altogether ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Man United.

Lucas Moura earns a rare start for the visitors out wide, as does Toby Alderweireld in defence, with Davinson Sanchez the man to make way.

They’ll look to rein in the Seagulls’ Glenn Murray, who was on the scoresheet in Saturday’s loss at Crystal Palace.

The veteran is in fine form in front of his own fans, firing five goals in his last six starts at the Amex Stadium.

May as well keep. His DGW fixtures are horrible but two bites at getting returns at that price hard to ignore if you already have him.

Only got a few FTs left for rest of season, wouldn’t waste one on getting shut of him, bigger fish to fry.

    Thoughts on this FH team?

    Cech
    Laporte - VVD - Baines
De Bruyne - Salah - Sterling - Zaha
    Aubameyang - Firmino - Tosun

    Team for GW35 so far...
    Pope
    Robertson, Lowton, Kiko
    Salah, Milo
    Aubameyang, Barnes

Subs DDG, Chilwell, Christensen, Kaku, Alli, Mahrez, Willian

Alli and Mahrez to Sterling and Gundogan?
    Kaku to Kane in GW36

Fernandinho is back to probably take Gundogan’s place, although if David Silva spends time in Spain again, that would help. Bit too much of a risk to bring him in for me.

I'd rather he don't. Emerson might have started at Burnley anyway. Can just bench 36 and have him back for the double. An appeal could make him miss a game in 37

Then I can field 11 and keep Kane in my team.

Currently got Son Ali Kane Mahrez and Lukaku all on not playing this gw but I have my free hit but I was going to play that gw37. What's everyone's plans and views of what my tactic this week should be. What I see it a 4 point hit would only really be a 2 point hit if I currently have a player not playing

Better than having spare cash itb.. also serves you good in case of rotation.. just put cheapies lik Long, Dummet etc on the bench if your looking to free up funds

      1. Virgil Hilts
        • 9 Years
        8 years, 3 months ago

Yep rather have some playing cheapos on the bench in case of rotation when on FH

Some non FH game-weeks could be decimated by taking hits and then having rested players.

FH is a big advantage, best not waste it by only having 11 starters and then 2 or 3 no-shows.
