The curtailed Gameweek 35 concludes at Goodison Park tonight as Everton host Newcastle United in a fixture that has all the makings of a dead rubber.

The two teams are now surely safe from the threat of relegation and appear to be playing for Premier League prize money only over the remaining matches.

But from a Fantasy perspective, there is still interest in the Merseyside clash, with Free Hit managers investing in the likes of Jordan Pickford, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman in their one-week refresh.

All start for the home side tonight.

Meanwhile, those without the chip at their disposal, likely take Magpies assets into this match, with Ayoze Perez, Kenedy and budget defender Paul Dummett among the most likely to feature in squads.

Indeed, Perez is the most signed player on show tonight, having commanded over 133,000+ transfers in ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

That follows a rich vein of form from the Spaniard which has produced three goals and three two assists from his last three Gameweek starts.

Perez sits behind Islam Slimani in the attack tonight, with the Algerian starting a Premier League match for Newcastle for the first time since his loan move from Leicester City.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Anyone else struggling with too much money in midfield and a poo defence after the DGW34?
I'm going to have a fair bit of cash on my bench until the end of the season. Guess that was the downside of going big in 34.

A hit or two and I am sure you could use that cash up pretty quick 🙂

Not really as the replacements will still be on my bench. Going to take a -16 to get that cash back into circulation.
Can't decide if I want a big front 3 or big midfield. Can't have them both. And my def is crap.
I guess my bench may come into play with rotation so I can't afford it to be too cheap.

If I learnt anything this season, it's that maximizing my cash output does not always lead to success.

Last week I could have maxed my cash by having De Bruyne. Instead I went for Silva and had enough cash for Hennessy on the bench. Came on for Cech.

Dgw Grob and Lingard did well for me.

To reply your qns, taking hits is not advisable. Who knows your subs may come in handy? Barnes came on this GW for some.

Another hit before 37 gives me this
The pre 37 moves would be
    Mahrez and Murray to
    Sterling and J.Ayew
No chips so looking to get a strong 11 and hope they all play.
Thoughts or different pre 37 moves you would make?

    DeGea

    Smalling Mustafi Morgan

    Sanchez Son Sterling Sane

    Kane Vardy J. Ayew

    Ryan Gudmundsson Tark Lowton

All your bench play which is great.
No Arsenal attack may hurt you as they are scoring at will at home.
And who knows what Spurs will do. They have gone off the boil hard.
I'm waiting to see what happens this weekend before I make my moves.
A blank from Kane and I may well move him on.

Thanks after previous Sanchez dgw fail I am more likely to lose him that Kane.
Now thinking the moves above plus Sanchez to Eriksen for a second hit prior to 37.
        Madness or not?

Which one is more of a priority:

    A) Get Man City assets (No City players at the moment)
    B) Get Kane (Have Eriksen and Son)

I guess A, but Kane captainers have me worried.

The City players have already had a few price rises so I think it would be more prudent to get Kane first, espec. for this GW.

I am in the same position and I will go B as he is the best captain option this week. I would not captain any of City assets because of the possibility of being benched.

It’s all about balancing the hits and upside. That’s the key right now.

Spurs and city are so tempting. But how tempting?

It wasn’t so long ago everyone’s going for 2/3 che and lei with their double double and now prepared to chuck away 4 points to get rid of each.

It seems like it could be a trap, and seems like points chasing, yet.. still remains tempting.

Timely post. It's very tempting but I only have 35 point ML so should minimize hits but I was just now seriously considering this for -12 pre 37.
      Yes or no?

      Sanchez Mahrez Vardy Murray
      To
      Eriksen Sterling Jesus J.Ayew

35 is a huge lead and you’re offloading four players who already have a double.

Personally I’d do a move, maybe consider two but that’s the most.

Would give 3 Spurs and 3 City attack for 37 + J. Ayew up front that is tempting.

Who does your rival have? If he has Vardy and Mahrez and they do finally do something that -12 can be very costly as your leads then only 23. That’s potentially just a TC

I think my team looks better on paper rival does not have Mahrez or Vardy but has Sterling
So just Mahrez and Murray to Sterling and Ayew seems sensible. Rival also has TC I have no chips left. If I were him I would TC Sterling from his current squad

I have Alonso, Bailly and Morgan in my defense.

Do we think Bailly or Morgan should play? Or do I have to make a transfer here? I’d really like to save the FT this week.
