Robert Lewandowski (£9.5m) is the Fantasy focal point of Poland’s opening game of the World Cup against Senegal – but Fantasy managers have largely steered clear of this fixture.

The Bayern Munich striker is one just two players in the match with more than five percent ownership on McDonald’s FIFA World Cup Fantasy game, sitting in 8.5% of squads.

Meanwhile, midfielder Salif Sane’s lowly price of £4.5m convinced 6.6% of managers to use him as a budget enabler.

Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane (£8.5m) hasn’t been particularly fancied for goals by Fantasy managers as he is owned by just 3.6%.

  Would just do A, Isco vs Coutinho is tough with no other Brazil coverage, Isco's next 2 fixtures are by far the better but Brazil needing goals could also be extremely dangerous to overlook? Really is 50/50...toss a coin!!

I think Siggy is being overlooked in these parts.

Got the game against the 'big boy' of the group out the way.

Takes penalties in a WC which is producing a lot of penalties and takes corners for a team that is effective at scoring from corners.

Only has 1.9% ownership which is important at this stage of the game because all the desirable assets will be highly owned form the quarter-finals onwards. Need to have players with considerably low ownership to do the business for you in the group stages if you're to do especially well at this game.
