West Ham United’s summer spending has continued in the last few days with the capture of Andriy Yarmolenko from Borussia Dortmund for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of £17.5m.

The Ukraine international has signed a four-year deal with the Hammers and was Manuel Pellegrini’s fifth recruit after the signings of Ryan Fredericks, Jack Wilshere, Lukasz Fabianski and Issa Diop. Attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson has since signed from Lazio for a club-record fee.

The 28-year-old winger has an eye-catching goal-scoring record in his native country, having scored on 99 occasions in 227 league appearances for Dynamo Kyiv (the fifth-highest goal haul in Ukrainian Premier League history) before his move to the Bundesliga a year ago.

Yarmolenko also registered 65 assists in his time with the Ukrainian giants and has 35 goals in 77 appearances for his national side.

With Marko Arnautovic having been reclassified as a £7.0m forward in Fantasy Premier League ahead of the coming season, Yarmolenko’s listing as a midfielder for the same price is particularly convenient for those Fantasy managers who are unconvinced and unhappy at the maverick Austrian’s positional conversion.

Whereas Arnatouvic has only hit double figures for goals in a season on three occasions, Yarmolenko achieved this feat seven years in a row while at Kyiv.

The 6′ 3″ winger would seem set to play on the flank in Pellegrini’s preferred 4-2-3-1 formation, though attention will have to be paid to the Hammers’ pre-season friendlies for any tactical tweaks by the Chilean manager.

West Ham’s Director of Football, Mario Husillos, said of the club’s latest capture:

He is a left-footed player but can play on the right and is very quick, very good one-on-one against a defender. He gives the team a lot of attacking options and scores goals, is fast on the counter-attack and provides aerial threat with his height.

The History

Yarmolenko’s club career began with Desna Chernihiv in the same Ukrainian city where he had progressed through the youth system.

It was from Chernihiv that Yarmolenko made the move to Dynamo Kyiv, where he had previously – and briefly – spent time as an academy player.

Featuring initially for the Ukrainian giants’ reserve side, the rangy winger made his first-team debut at the age of 18 towards the end of the 2007/08 season. Yarmolenko marked that cameo substitute appearance against Vorskla Poltava with the winning goal in Kyiv’s 2-1 victory.

Yarmolenko made only three starts and seven substitute appearances in 2008/09, failing to register a goal or assist, but his breakthrough year with Kyiv came the following season.

Still only 19 at the start of the campaign, Yarmolenko made 27 appearances for Kyiv throughout the season (starting all but one of those matches), scoring on seven occasions and providing a further four assists. The youngster also made his first appearances in the UEFA Champions League, with Barcelona and Inter among the Ukrainian side’s group opponents.

From 2010/11 onwards, Yarmolenko hit at least ten goals in each of the next seven seasons. His best single-season goal haul (15) was in his final full campaign with Kyiv, while a total of 14 assists in 2014/15 was his creative peak.

After five league appearances for Kyiv at the start of the 2017/18 season, Yarmolenko signed for Borussia Dortmund for a reported €25m.

The Ukraine international’s first season outside of his home country was something of a disappointment, however, with Yarmolenko failing to recapture the form he had exhibited for several years in his homeland. The winger ended the season with three goals and five assists from 18 Bundesliga appearances – his worst attacking statistics in a decade – although injury did keep him out for two months earlier this calendar year.

Yarmolenko has a wealth of European experience to his name too, having made a combined 86 appearances in the Champions League and Europa League. The wide midfielder has scored on 20 occasions and set up as many goals in his European endeavours.

The Prospects

Yarmolenko’s struggles in Germany temper his consistently excellent returns in Ukraine and the concern for Hammers fans and FPL managers alike is whether the winger will once again flatter to deceive outside of his homeland.

Despite a so-so debut season with Dortmund, Yarmolenko’s underlying creativity statistics still bode well for his prospects this season. The wide-midfielder created a chance every 37 minutes in the Bundesliga in 2017/18, a better rate of key passes than any of his new team-mates in midfield – including Arnautovic.

It should also be noted that Yarmolenko’s impressive assist count for Kyiv doesn’t include many of the “Fantasy assists” that are rewarded in FPL.

Yarmolenko averaged a shot every 33.6 minutes for Dortmund, an only slightly inferior mean than Arnautovic (32.7), who played a large chunk of the season for West Ham as a striker. The Ukrainian winger’s minutes-per-chance rate beat all other Hammers’ midfielders, including Manuel Lanzini.

Yarmolenko started out his career with Kyiv on the left wing but soon became a permanent fixture on the opposite flank as an inverted winger in the Arjen Robben/Riyad Mahrez mould. Nineteen of the Ukrainian wide-midfielder’s 31 attempts on goal for Dortmund last season were from his left boot, underscoring his predilection for cutting inside onto his favoured foot.

With Andy Carroll and Manuel Lanzini out for extended periods and Javier Hernandez having participated in the World Cup this summer, Arnautovic could again be the focal point of the Hammers’ attack at the beginning of 2018/19, though further recruitment in the striking position would seem likely.

Either way, Yarmolenko should be a near-certain starter on his favoured right flank and help alleviate the goal-scoring burden carried by Arnautovic in Carroll and Lanzini’s absence.

Other than appealing home fixtures against Bournemouth and Wolves, West Ham have a difficult-looking start to 2018/19 (the Hammers play five of the “big six” in the first nine Gameweeks) and many of their assets are perhaps best avoided until the fixture schedule eases. That would give us ample time to assess Yarmolenko’s value as a mid-priced midfielder and whether he is worthy of consideration for our Fantasy squads – or indeed, like compatriot Andriy Shevchenko, if his move to the Premier League has come while his powers are on the wane.

A further bit on my post from the other day about players returning from the World Cup. Jose’s comments today made me look into if there was a difference between how managers treat players following the tournament.

Again, so that this post isn’t ridiculously long, I’m going to focus on the managers of the “Top 6”, who I imagine will be in charge of majority of the players we’ll be considering that were involved in Russia.

    Pep Guardiola (Bayern Munich 2014-15):
    - Manuel Neuer, Philipp Lahm, Mario Gotze, Thomas Muller and Bastian Schweinsteiger all returned in a friendly on the 6th August, having all played for Germany in the World Cup final.
    - Muller and Neuer started the Supercup (The German Community Shield, from what I’ve gathered) against Dortmund on August 13th. Gotze and Lahm came on as second half substitutes.
    - Dante and Robben both made appearances in the same friendlies mentioned above.
    - All 6 players mentioned above (Excluding Schweinsteiger) started the first match of the season in a win against Wolfsburg.
    - (Jerome Boateng was suspended for GW1, so not included as pre-season plans would have been different)

    Jose Mourinho (Chelsea 2014-15):
    - Covered most of this in my previous post, but as a summary,
    - Oscar, who started every game for Brazil, started GW1 for Chelsea.
    - Schurrle, who was a fringe player at best for Germany, started and scored against Burnley GW1.
    - Willian, also barely used in the WC, made sub appearances GW1/2, starting in GW3.

    Mauricio Pochettino (Spurs 2014-15):
    - No World Cup players from the SFs.
    - Lloris started GW1, having been knocked out in the QFs.

    Jurgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund 2014-15):
    - Hummels was suffering with knee issues through pre-season, and as such made no appearances, and the data isn’t particularly useful.

    Maurizio Sarri (Empoli F.C 2014-15):
    - Empoli had a largely Italian squad, and as such, no players were involved in the World Cup SFs.
    Unai Emery (Sevilla 2014-15):
    - As above, no players in the squad were involved in the World Cup semi-finals.

Just to round this off, I looked at a couple of other ‘key’ players that were involved in the last two matches of Brazil 2014:
    - Toni Kroos, integral to Germany in the World Cup, started the UEFA Supercup on the 12th August, and also played the full 90 against Atletico in the Supercopa on the 19th. He played 45 in the second leg three days later, then started the first game in the league.
    - Lionel Messi, obviously a key role in the Argentinian team until the end. He started the last friendly, on the 18th August, and then played the full 90 in GW1.

The words from Mourinho struck me as odd, as he was more than happy to blast Oscar straight into action from the off in 2014-15 – and we all know how well that season went for them, so it would surprise me if he didn’t try and get his stars back and ready for GW1 again.

Guardiola seemed equally keen to get his men back into action. So, while I still doubt they’ll start GW1, KDB, Sterling, Stones etc could all be back sooner than it may seem.

It seems that managers are just as keen to get their main men back into their teams as we are, and understandably so. I imagine the confidence in majority of those that reached the SFs will be extraordinarily high. Triple captain Giroud GW1.

Hopefully some of you find this useful, or at the very least of some interest at half 3 in the morning!

Managers will do everything they can to get players back as soon as possible.

Was the mandatory 3 week break In force in 2014?

City struggled without kdb when he was rested last season.

Maybe that's why they've gone out and spent 60m on Mahrez.

Interesting article but the modern game with pressers being key and social media always at training means you no longer have to guess, you're on unlimited transfers, you can plan without rather than hit and hope but if some appear to be back, you can adapt.

      Think you need to include:

How far each player went in the WC and what their schedule was. Mendy v Giroud for example at this one.

When the first match of the season was- think the Prem starts unusually early compared to other leagues.

Yes, but if you have 3 + 1, and the 1 joins the same team as the 3, you then have 4. Your next transfer is then restricted to the sale of one of the 4. This is why I asked if I could hold out till GW1, because if I want to make a change, I have to sell one of the City players. A few others have tried this, but very few, if any, will make it to GW1 without making a change.

Seeing some people with triple Everton, which seems really risky to me. What guarantee do we have that Marco Silva will even do well with them? Relegated with Hull then a decent start at Watford followed by a horrible period. Thats his experience in the PL. If Everton start out poorly double/triple EVE teams will be in dire shape. Their fixtures are decent but they arent a good enough team to expect wins.

In the first 6 games they meet wol, SOU, bou, HUD, WHU, ars. How many games will they be favorites here? 2 out of 6?

Agree with this, one maybe, own two perhaps but three? Seems like people forget how bad these players are/were or really rate Silva, he would have to do some serious polishing of turds in the three month Summer break, not sure that's long enough to turn it around.

Sigurdsson is proven FPL gold, but was obviously hindered by an extremely defensive manager.
Coleman was out for most of the season but he looked good when he was fit.
Tosun got bonus points in all of the games that he scored in - 5 goals in 12 starts is not the worst record for a player new to the league, playing under Big Sam.

Everton should probably sign another CB (and perhaps an LB since Baines is getting old) but they don't have that bad of a team to be honest.

Being proven FPL Gold doesn't score points as last season proved, he/they still have to perform, there's no evidence that they will yet.

Seems like the colour coding of the fixtures is making Everton look better than they are.

They have a very old defence now which time is not being kind to, it's largely the same squad who looked so bad, not saying they can't improve but it's a case of playing no football in this last few months has made them better in fantasy managers eyes.

Those are all fair points but I'm really struggling to find alternatives to Coleman / Siggy / Tosun given their fixtures. Sure, perhaps the fixtures are making them look better than they are, but teams tend to do better in easier games than harder ones. They aren't exactly facing any decent defences in the first 6 weeks either.

PVA/Ramsey/Arnie are good alternatives. My point isnt that people shouldnt have any EVE players, just that 2-3 players seem a risky proposition for an unproven team.

Already have Tomkins and Guaita, so I don't want to treble up on Palace defensively.
Already have Ramsey, meanwhile I really don't like the look of Arnie's fixtures.
Most teams are "unproven teams" though, aren't they?

The point isn't that you can find alternatives, it's that Stat can't find alternatives. His team, his valuations. If he thinks they are the most valuable players of all time in FPL (for arguments' sake), what is the reason he should avoid the double or triple up?

When he makes a valuation of Sigurdsson, he has already taken into account the likelihood of him scoring goals in an Everton team.

When he makes a valuation of Coleman, he has already taken into account the likelihood of him scoring goals and getting clean sheets in an Everton team.

Putting them together does nothing to change the probability of returns and therefore any argument on "cover" or "baskets" should be disgarded. (except in situations in which your players may "rotate" and the like).

                        That's my argument 🙂

This - if I feel like Sigurdsson is a better option than Willian, then the fact that I have another 2 Everton players doesn't change that.

I didnt make the original post as a critique of Stat's team 🙂
I disagree that risk aversion in terms of avoiding tripling up on teams of fairly unknown ability is the same as the "cover" argument. I dont think cover makes sense at all as a concept in FPL.

                              I don't see how it's different.

You're critiquing teams with double and triple-up Everton. Stat is defending that position. I just used him as an example, but it could be anyone with two Everton players.

Also, if an FPL manager over- or under-values a particular factor (e.g. a team's likely form), then that's what creates diversity between all our teams. That's cool. I don't want everyone's teams to look the same out of their fear of added risk (which I don't think exists if they are picking players for the right reasons)

There's discussion of players, teams and tactics, which is great. But I kind of see the double- and triple-up smearing as scaremongering, limiting other people's teams because you don't have the kahoonas to do something yourself.

I haven't ever seen one good argument for what you're proposing. I guess that's the problem.

Many managers actively try to avoid being affected by this type of thinking, anyway, because they think it has no basis in rational decision-making. It's a myth; a mental block; a psychological bias.

If Everton's form dips, the FPL output of the players may dip. But if you buy a non-Everton player, they too will belong to a team, who's form may dip. So having 2 players from the same team doesn't matter. They are two independent points-producers who happen to belong to the same team. If Everton do well, both might do well; if Everton fail, both might also fail. But the probability of those events are not affected by having the both in the team, so it just doesn't matter.

The exception would be having a player from a different team would you could play while benching your Everton player. But this isn't the case when discussing Siggy, as you'll always play him; it isn't the case when discussing Pickford, because you can't rotate him with an outfield player; and if your third player is Holgate, it also doesn't apply because you'll never rotate him with Siggy, etc....

I have Coleman too but that's because I don't think City or Arsenal defenders are needed yet but for Siggy & Tosun, there are alternatives, it's a lot of eggs in a basket that shouldn't have this much confidence yet.

Going to Wolves in that first game won't be easy, Wolves will be buzzing for their return and they are a team who did well and are on the up, could go horribly wrong on day one, three seems massively risky to me but good luck all the same.

Depends on the players and the price. If you're talking about Pickford, Holgate and Tosun, for example, then it really doesn't matter that they belong to the same team.

Guys remember, GW1 is about balance. I see a lot of teams loaded with players from the same teams, you're putting all you eggs in one basket with little relevant information available.

I would rather put all my eggs in one basket in some cases based on the fixtures than go for players with terrible fixtures instead. For example at the moment I can't find a better defender than Coleman at 5.5, nor a better mid than Siggy at 7.5 (already have Ramsey), nor a better striker than Tosun at 7.

City doubles are asking for trouble unless you have a good bench. See plenty with Mahrez/Sane/Aguero (2 or 3) and then absolute crap on the bench. Wonder what they will do once 2 of them are benched against Huddersfield

I dont think its the same as coverage. This is more about risk management. We have limited information on which teams will be great and which will be poor, so its high risk to have 3 from one team. Lower risk to have players from several teams. If you have 3 City and 0 Arsenal its harder to get in several Arsenal players if they look to be in great shape than if you have 2 City and 1 Arsenal.

Do we really expect City of all teams to be poor? Besides, we have pre-season to get an idea.

Even if Arsenal turn out to be great this quickly which is unlikely, I don't expect them to score loads of goals in their first 2 games. They're notorious for getting smashed by big teams.

No I dont expect City to be poor it was just an example 🙂 Could make the same case for people who have 3 Everton instead of 1 Everton 1 CPL 1 Wolves or something. Its high risk vs low risk, not about coverage.

Brosstan made some great points, tripling up on City is not that much of a risk, but I'm just saying it's unwise to begin a season assured in something when there's going to be little relevant infromation available. Unless you want to wildcard in GW4, tripling up on Everton is asking for trouble, you need room for manuevre in GW1, that's what it's all about, to prepare your team for quick changes if necessary.

Same with Jesus and Aguero when one is benched. Why should Arsenal refuse to have depth? I don't see a problem with a big of rotation. 5 players for 4 slots, and at their FPL prices (if that's what you're worried about) a bit of rotation is manageable (more manageable than the City mids last year, for example). There are also going to be more than just one game per week, so an extra player is necessary, if anything, imo.

In order to save the team from injuries, I wouldn't set it up to play Laca and Auba together week-in, week- out. If one gets injured, there is only one capaple of CF left, and it could be the one who's been training for the wing the whole time. Lots of pressure, especially when matches are coming thinck and fast.

So I'd happily play Zaha ahead of Laca, especially, many weeks, with Auba taking the CF possition, but also even with Laca in CF and Auba rested. Zaha could also be the 3rd CF at the club, just in case Laca and Auba are both injured or need resting. I feel the same about Martial. They are both quality enough for Arsenal, unlike Iwobi, who has many questions marks over his head.

Of course, I see Arsenal being patient with him and other youth players coming through, but they'd also said goodbye to Perez and Campbell, as well as Wilshere (who was an attacking asset). There's room for another attacking assest on the books, surely.

Am I the only one who doesn't feel the need for Robertson?

I mean, his 6m price is perfect, but other than him and VVD, every Pool defender is 5m or less. Do you really want to pay an extra 1m just for a few random assists he'll get over the season?

not really considered him tbh. Coleman appeals for .5 less. Bailly likely to start for UTD whose defence is better. Would be cautious of TAA though having only just arrived home.

United's defence isn't much better than Liverpool's, if it is at all. You'd have to see goals coming from Bailly for him to be better value than Robertson imo

robertson is 25% more expensive than Bailly. Will he keep 25% more clean sheets? doubt it.

you have to subtract the base price of defenders (4.0). So its effectively 2.0 vs 1.5. so 25% increase

Not in my team at the moment. I do like the look of TAA and Clyne, even with rotation. Bavies at 5.5 was popular last season with constant question marks over his head, so you could get Clyne and switch to TAA if TAA makes himself preferred after some time. Or get TAA if you really have that mich faith in him already (lots do). Wouldn't touch Lovren, though, tbh.

Robertson is worth the outlay IMO.

Trent is good value too, but he'll be rotated a fair bit.

The CB situation is unclear. Depends if a new one is signed.

I really want VVD. I spent the last 10 games of last season watching him go close in nearly every game from corners and he odd pot shot. He’s he most nailed out of all their backline too & as good a defensive lynchpin as any, plenty of ways to score points.

Despite what others will say I am CONVINCED he is due a goal soon!

Agreed about VVD. If he just got one goal last season, he'd be in much more teams I think, becuase he'd have an extra 6-9 points to his name, and people would remember his goal threat a bit better. That said, TAA and Robertson (especially) blew him out the water in PPM. Southampton wouldn't have helped, but he was far from making up the difference at Liverpool, which is difficult to swallow when you're taking a 6.0 leap of faith.

I see his certainty of starts making up for any deficiency in PPM, as well as hopefully a catch up in his attacking returns with the odd goal & Assist. Robertson only got into the team last year when Moreno got injured last year, then Moreno never really got fit again until right at the death.

I think Robertson wills definitely miss games here & there for Moreno, so hoping VVD’s nailedness will be better overall. We shall see!

If my 6.0 defender down't play, I'd have someone like Deulofeu or Douglas coming on, so I could afford some rotation. I don't have any Pool defence at the moment, but I wouldn't be averse based on nailedness grounds.. As you say, it would only be the odd game rather than full blown rotation

Very true. Douglas is very interesting at 5.0. I see him in the same boat as PVA & Coleman as begin potentially lucrative if things go their way.

It really depends on what players you buy. Nobody can really afford that many premium players however with the price of Salah, so I reckon this is why ppl think it’s wiser to bank on cheaper defenders to keep clean sheets than the likes of Wilson up front to score goals. I personally think 4 defender formations are the best with 4-4-2 looking like my fav coz I can get Auba and Kun and leave them be

Anyone know if Patricio speaka the english?

Seems a very odd transfer. Been with same club since age 12, going to darkest Wolverhampton could be a massive culture shock, could not wait to leave Lisbon but have to wonder how much thought he has given his destination

Not entirely related to the thread, but I was surprised to see how well-travelled Douglas is - played for Lech Poznan and Konyspor over a four year period.

Interesting. Watched a lot of clips of him and he seems a very good player. He's strong with both feet, I've seen him smash in goals from outside the box with both feet. Very good at taking set-pieces too. Very tempted to gamble on him, just depends if I can find a 4.0m defender I like.

At the risk of getting carried away - he is absolutely in my team.

The manager comes with a pedigree of defensive stability (24 clean sheets last season), 4 goals and 14 assists, excellent delivery and shares set-pieces with Neves. Seems to have the quality to step-up.

Way different than my current draft but I like it actually, bit of a lack of decent 4.5 mids so Stephens probably your man there! Stek at 4.0 might well start the season ahead of Pickford.
I'd go Bailly over Smalling too and save the 0.5. GL!

Trying to estimate what Douglas will get this season. Any of these estimates off?
(5 goals, 14 assists last season)

                    35 apps
                    2 goals
                    7 assists
                    9 clean sheets
                    10 bonus
                    5 yellow cards

That would give him 144pts and make him one the best value players in the game.

If it's that he's playing in the Premier League then I looked at all other promoted FBs/WBs and how it affected their returns and cutting his returns in half is very pessimistic.

Fair point in his case. Although Smith wasn't a WB, and didn't play a whole lot.

There are instances where players flop from the championship, granted. I just don't see Wolves doing a Brighton/Huddersfield and parking the bus every game.

I'm currently using him in GW1 to allow me to bench Mkhitaryan. Could change my mind though. ]

But for me, he's a strong first sub option. You can be happy to play him over any budget-mid option who has a poor fixture, or allow him to be autosubbed if necesasary, since he could score attacking points in any game (as opposed to a 4.5 defender or 5.0-5.5 midfielder who has only one route to points: CSs and attacking points, respectively)

...or he could turn out like Suttner, who everyone had in their initial teams last year.

Attacking fullback in a newly promoted side with a decent defence...sound familiar?

He was the new German (I think) fullback Brighton bought in from the Bundesliga after promotion.

Was a fullback in a good defensive side, defensive manager. Was on set-pieces.

He was in the GW1 template for a lot of people last year. Played maybe a month then got perma-benched by Hughton

Suttner barely played. And wasn't a wingback. Sure as hell didn't get those returns in the Championship!

                        But point taken.

Douglas plays left-wing in a genuine 3-4-3. He's also on free-kicks and most corners, and in a better team. Defo not like Suttner. And I'd play him every week he was available. It's one of those things where you look back and either say, 'I'm a genius' or 'impossible to tell pre-season' but it's hard to see those Wolves assets as anything other than extraordinary value from this distance.

I wonder are the assists a little optimistic, maybe 4 assists and 7 clean sheets to be pessimistic, and 8 baps.

Would leave him on 127 points.... not bad at all for a 5.0, right?

Not all the assists would be FPL compatible so you may have a point.

But still very good returns for 5.0m.

Since you won't play him for 38 games in a season, nor have him in your XI when he doesn't appear, wouldn't it make sence to calculate with 38 games and find the average (PPM)?

Or 35 and find the average?

You could include the playoffs too, for 37, I think.

England the most improved side of the tournament. England or France for 2020. Hopefully the final.

That could be the power two for the next 12 years imo.

                        No. They don’t.

It’s be nice but it’s not needed.

Reminds me of when England lost to Italy and everyone needed a Pirlo.

Modric is a good player but that’s it. Not essential.

Do France have a Modric ?

I think England will find what they need. Lallana is one we could have taken. Maybe wilshere will sort himself out. Shelvey could stop being a chav. Many more World Cup winners in the younger age groups too who smashed Spain 5-2 in a final

there's the likes of lewis cook, kieran dowell etc. in the youth sides but only one for me truly stands out as a creative prospect - phil foden

Most improved of the tournament? That would have to be Russia. Gave Croatia more of a game than England did.

Whether they're an old team or not, their improvement over this World Cup far and away overshadows what England "achieved".

                      Good article.
The only ones I'd consider are Joe Ralls at 5.0m (7 goals and 4 assists last season in the Championship, compared to Tom Cainey 6G/5A and Helder Costa 5G/6A) and Lee Peltier who looks a great defensive pick at 4.0m if he starts.

Fair enough. Can you spot where I can free up 1.5M in this team?

                          Ederson - 4.0
                          Robertson - Bailly - Douglas - Cedric - Thomkins
                          Salah - Mahrez - Martial - Cairney - Chalobah/4.0
                          Aguero - Firmino - Jiminez/Tosun

                          Appreciate the help

Ederson + Bailly to cheaper options.

im resting him till gw3,save a transfer ,strictly no hits this year, gonna go with a strong bench ,I fancy bobbie plus 4 coins and eriksen plus 3 coins instead of salah and kane might be fruitful, but then again 3 more weeks of tinkering yet, what is a given is that everybody who actually scores gw1 would have been in my office...

I don't understand why you would start Milivojevic ahead of Auba in GW 1

"i'm resting him till gw3" hahaha

your benching of him in for the first 2 gameweeks won't magically make him well rested and ready to go from gameweek 3 onwards.

Benching Auba? Makes little to no sense, Arsenal vs City can be a goal fest

I assume its a joke that Deloufeu, Cairney, Cedric and Mili are playing with that bench.

I’m sorry but benching Aubameyang (or any 11.0m) in favour of Tom Cairney and Deulofeu... is this a wind up, or do you know something we don’t?

Robertson is in your team for attacking potential in addition to the additional CS surely? I dont think they necessarily get a CS against WHU but he will still be in my GW1 side. I dont think its good strategy to stay away from great picks just because of how the first fixtures looks. Recipe for hits if they get a great score and look set to rise 0.1 after the first gw..

Reconsidering everyone is always healthy, but in Robertson's case he should be in your team after the reconsideration
