    I’ve played my wildcard already

    How does this team look?

    DDG;
    Alonso, Mendy, Robertson, AWB, Bennett (Wolves);
    Salah, Alli, Mkhitaryan, Richarlison, Cairney;
    Arnautovic, Aguero, Kamara

Let’s see what happens with Aguero today 😉

      I would say:

Bennett to Dummett (check out the CPL / NEW rotation)
      Cairney to Maddison
      Anie to Zaha
      Alli to Bernardo

Seems like you'd be playing 442 every single week based on that team. Would get Ederson and upgrade Cairney to Fraser or Bennett to a 4.5m.

Wildcarding allows me to get in Robertson, Firmino for BHA game. Hazard, Alonso & Mkhi come in also. Getting rid of Sanchez, Eriksen, King and double Wolves in the process. Also feel it might be best to ship Aguero and get a City mid instead. Seems worth it to me but time will tell!

This is where I am at.

14 from 4 thus far. But have Aguero(C) so if he doesn't play Eriksen(VC). Also have Sanchez who is rumoured to have not travelled.
Got 100 in GW1, using BB, so that was good. But I don't think the points you have atm is overly important on future actions.

After Brighton next gameweek Liverpool face a five game spell of lei, tot, SOU, che, MCI.

Jeez I think he could have joy away to Leicester with Vardy suspended, he scored away to spurs last year, and the amount of big chances chelsea gave away yesterday was unreal. Not sure there’s such a thing as a bad fix for salah

How you'll describe the disaster of getting just 15 points out of 6 players in this GW2... I was in top 25k for GW1 with 97 points (without chips) and then this...
    My team looks like this:

    Foster-Fabianski

    (A shithead) Peltier-Tarkowski-PvA-Robertson-Duffy

    Eriksen (awful)- Sanchez-Mane-Richarlison-Gray (awful)

Zaha-Aguero-King (worse than awful if it exists at all)

What to do now? I was really excited about this gw and than I got a disaster...

Hazard has Bournemouth & Cardiff at home when Salah has Leicester & Spurs away in GW4 & 5.

Is Hazard worth getting at the expense of Aguero (if he’s benched today)?

Thats the thing. I know Aguero will play today and if not he will vs Wolves. We knew that risk and I know he will score but isnt it better to spend that money for nailed player who is also big hitter and probably cheaper.
Now I understand Marks thinking (I captained Kun) and thing I made wrong decision (hard to sell him now like Mar said too).

I wouldn’t be comfortable capping Salah in GW5, 7 & 8 when they face Spurs Chelsea & City. Other alternatives have much better fixtures.

      2. Karan_G14
        • 10 Years

I guess I will take accept defeat and sell him if he doesn’t start today. I need a player who I can blindly captain when Salah has a bad fixture.

I can’t play it that way. I’ll cap him most weeks but when he’s facing teams like Cheslea, Spurs, City & United and other nailed alternatives have plum fixtures at home I would want to cap them instead.

To me it makes sense to play Jesus and Aguero together against Huddersfield. Do they need three deeper lying midfielders against Huddersfield at home? Having the two strikers with one dropping off and one on the shoulder would give the defence a real problem IMO. City played their best football against Huddersfield last season when they played 4-2-4 IMO

    Ederson
    Walker Stones Laporte Mendy
    Fernandinho Bernardo
    Sterling Jesus Aguero Mahrez

Last night I pulled the trigger on King & Moura > Wilson & Miki. Good moves? Current team:

    Hamer
    Mendy / Robertson / Shaw
Bernardo Silva / Mkhitaryan / Salah / Richarlison
    Firmino / Wilson / Agüero

    Pickford / Wan-Bissaka / Dendoncker

Really sideways imo. Mkhi looked good yday but he's a notorious pussayhole who disappears from matches inexplicably so you don't know what you'll get next week. Wilson is trolly as feck. King definitely needs to go but Moura looked good in preseason and could come good yet. He scored a goal yday after all.

the highest score this week has 104 points. But he has done 27 transfers!! (-104). So in effect he has 0 points! I think FPL should deduct transfer points when determining the highest scorer for a week. Also, maybe set some limit, like 5 transfers maximum in 1 gw.
I dont know why people who does 20, 30 & 40 transfers in a week, even bother playing!

I think they do it mainly to see if they can top the rankings for that particular week.

I think I'd keep him for Eve fixture.

        Yeah.

Two blanks in a row isn’t exactly unusual for a striker.

Doesn't look like it from the stats. xG 0.2 after 2 games. I wonder if he's even playing.

But I'm not interested in Wilson or Ings either.

That’s not a firm indicator of what he’s going to do over the next two weeks though, is it.

If I keep king this week it means that I will later not be able to get a defender for 5.5 due to his pending price drop. I will have to make do with 5.4 or lower. If I sell now it will cost me four points. What do you think?

    1. Nomar
      • 16 Years

      See one above.

What 5.5 def do you really want?

Maybe a gunner for their fixtures like Bellerin...

Check the amount of players whose price should drop before his. His price drop may not happen. Also emergency wc:s here may help him to keep his price. And lack of good alternatives from other teams.
