Long-term maverick Luke returns to reveal his freshly Wildcarded team which bravely went into Gameweek 2 without Manchester City’s hat-trick hero Sergio Aguero and last season’s points-scoring sensation Mohamed Salah.

In stark contrast, Az is continuing his march up the rankings thanks to his faith in this premium pair, and his resolve in resisting broadsheet tittle-tattle hinting that the Argentinian would be dropped.

David is also beating a different drum and keen to explain the reasons behind his chequered FPL history and how his fortunes already look better this time around.

That leaves me as the only dullard representative, armed with a bunch of ownership statistics, a goals imminent table and a dubious ‘camping’ excuse to explain my recent poor captaincy decision.

      I am in the same situation, as I want Fraser to plug that 0.5m in my squad.

      Even if I don't, one of Tomkins/Cairney will start.

      I did A. I just think Man U will want to react with at least a solid defensive performance after last week, wether or not they are capable of it is another question, so I see that game being 0-0. I think Arsenal have shown they can score goals and West Ham have not impressed me at all, I'm going Auba captain.

      You probably need to address Bailly, could see him being dropped after last week and you're already short on defenders, plus Mendy could even be benched with Pep rotation.
      Bailly to Bellerin or Monreal perhaps.

        That was my initial thought. But there's some backlash against Bellerin and he could get rotated with Lichtsteiner. Monreal is a pretty awful FPL pick owing to his extreme defensiveness. Also think Arsenal have looked poor at the back. Would rather get Luiz all things considered. Takes the occasional FK, good fixtures, can score from headers etc.

    I don’t get the Bilva love. Did bugger all week 1 until the very end when he stuck 1 in that should’ve been saved then done even less in a game they scored 6 and he had no part in any of them !
    Mkhi was constantly causing trouble in attack and if Aub had his shooting boots on could’ve had 2 more assists at least.
    But, whatever, I’m not gonna convince anyone that doesn’t already agree.

      Bernardo Silva has been outstanding since pre-season. Mkhitaryan had a poor pre-season and didn't impress against City. Half an hour of good football doesn't suddenly mean he's going to be nailed on or set the world on fire. I think Emery has been planning to use Lacazette from GW3 for a while, and that makes me uncertain of who will start this upcoming game out of Ramsey, Mkhitaryan and Özil.

        exactly that, even Iwobi is on the scene - Mkhi buyers may get 'lucky' but he is not even close to being nailed imo (he also isn't a better player than Ozil or Ramsey)

        What's your line of reasoning? I'm currently set on the first because I think salah is too dangerous not too own and aguero might rotate, had 75min first leg and 78 second leg but obviously a monster goal threat

        Yeah went A Smith over Daniels initially as his attacking underlying stats were promising.. Thanks for the feedback.. Im set on A or B I think..

        Dont fancy hiding behind a couch for Liverpools games for sure but also love the idea of Alonso when none of my rivals have the cash for him.. Will hold off tonight and re-assess tomorrow again I guess!
