Patience is proving a virtue for the Scoutcast’s latest guest, FPL General.

With top 500 finishes in all but one of his last four Fantasy Premier League seasons, his track record of giving players time to perform has certainly paid off.

Undaunted by a poor start this season he is sticking resolutely to the game plan, with Christian Eriksen and Josh King already rewarding him with attacking returns last time out, while many thousands of others were jettisoning them.

He joins Andy, David and myself to mull over a tricky last set of matches and look ahead to Gameweek 4.

Replacements for Everton’s red card villain Richarlison kick off our community question session, which also takes in Chelsea stars, the seemingly unstoppable rise of premium defenders and Wildcard timing.

        Normally I would just take the hit and go for it!!but I’ve had the best start I’ve ever had and am 3.5k atm so really don’t want to take hits if necessary but in the same boat I want to keep up the good start !! Not sure how to navigate a team with such a high rank!!! Haha

    he has been talked up alot and will have pretty high ownership, many below me in my mls have taken hits for this week, so it shouldn't hurt me so much, i think many will have done Rich to Wally to, so i think it is a good thing to cover him.

            I’ve been thinking the same but my team value isn’t great. I do like the idea of having two transfers after the break then I could do a mini wildcard; save my wildcard for later.

          If you really want to bench one, it would be Wilson. Chelsea are a strong side, and King is on penos so you don't even get that. Still not a proponent for benching strikers though, unless they're named Kamara

      I'm waiting to see how Liverpool do against Spurs to possibly spend Mane money on Kane/Hazard. Had Moura since the start though so quite happy to keep him as Spurs cover for now.

      I like B. Ryan good short term fix, PVA & Zaha great fixtures. Bellerin not as good as Monreal. Mitro perhaps better than Zaha though.

      I was considering Schlupp this week as he looks to remain OOP.

          Monreal has been good for a few goals last 2 seasons. If Emery cracks it though, Bellerin's pace should cause problems.
