ARNAUTOVIC IN CONTENTION FOR WOLVES GAME

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed Marko Arnautovic picked up a slight injury in the defeat to Arsenal but could still be involved Saturday's game at the London Stadium.

Marco has a small problem behind his knee. In the last game [against Arsenal] he was not comfortable to play the final minutes, but he has had all the examinations with the doctor and worked the whole week

This is from Sky themselves . Make your goddam minds up

Brazil last friendly is on September 12th, only 3 days before GW5, assuming Willian, Firmino, Jesus will be involved, this will probably benefit the likes of Pedro, Kun and Sturridge

Pedro could cover Hazard nicely next week

    1. BIG TONES
      • 11 Years
      7 years, 4 months ago

No such thing as cover imo, but if you were to make an argument for being able to cover points, Pedro covering Hazard is a poor one

      1. RustyBz
        • 10 Years
        7 years, 4 months ago

I agree with this for the most part - think there i assome logic when doing cover for defenders given clean sheets are uniform.

        Pedro can't cover Hazard

He does a little in this scenario.

Ones of the main reasons for the lower price and problems with getting is the rotation risk with Willian, which is much less that week .
Hazard going mental will likely see Pedro involved ...so he covers to a point

      2. yakirh
        • 9 Years
        7 years, 4 months ago

My main argument is that Pedro should start next GW, so owners should be glad
Regarding "cover", well its debatable, long term I agree with you, but for the Cardiff game, only for this game, with Pedro might be nailed for 90 minutes, I think he should do well

    Couple decisions

    A) Hennessey (SOT) or Ryan (FUL)
    B) AWB (SOT) or Ings (pal)

Fulham in good form so on Hennessey at the moment. Also have Mitro. But I won't double up if Tomkins is unavailable. If he's declared fit would you start Ings over AWB?

AWB or ings? Im struggling. Its home vs away and defence vs attack, quite difficult, i usually go for the striker in these situations, but southampton arent playing too well, the midweek win over Brighton may boost them. Anyone have the same dilemma and who are you choosing?

      Wait for news on Tomkins.

If he is fit then Palace defence generally more solid. Play AWB.

If he is out then they are going to have to play Kelly or Ward or something, then I would fancy Ings.

I have Tomkins and Ings so also awaiting news!

Both my keepers are out, that's a big fat zero.
In this situation, is it worth taking hit for a keeper?

Of course it is. Maybe not this week but he will.

          Log into FPL,
          Click on Points,
You’ll see at the address bar one number — that’s your ID.

          Paste it here. 🙂

Fair to say Pellegrini misheard the "out for Saturday" - or he interpreted it as meaning he'd be "out" on the pitch... maybe (!!)

    Answer doesn't make sense otherwise.

Pellegrini's comments definitely got lost in translation. Journalists should be clearer with their questions, and Arnautovic will definitely play this weekend.

I'd say so. After all this kerfuffle I'd say I was fairly certain that he'll start.

Late fitness test as well, which was always likely anyway.

Your man most prob will deliver.

I am about to go without him at GW4,
Wondering whether to land him for a hit at GW5 — the premium mid who could be ditched is Eriksen.

Anyone else find it strange that Tomkins is all of a sudden the best thing since sliced bread as far as defenders go? So many comments advising to play Wan-Bissaka if Tomkins is back - am I missing something? Is Tomkins the new Maldini or something? 😀

Nah just got a good relationship with Sakho.

Fuss is less about Tomkins himself, but the continuity in the back 4 which helps Palace's solidity.

Not just Tomkins. Sakho aswell. Together they are quite the unit in defence and Palace's chance of a clean sheet practically goes out the window when one is out

Most popular question is here is probably between Ings and AWB. Expected points wise it is quite close. Personally wouldn't feel comfortable on double Palace if Tomkins is out. If he start I rather take the higher potential than hedging with Ings (most likely points scorer for Sot)

Even with single Palace (I've only got Wan-Bissaka) I'd play the forward.

Wait for Jamie Jackson to say Arnie is out and then keep.
