The Fantasy Football Scout community have been hard at work again over the last seven days, producing the usual superb array of articles and tables as they reflected on Gameweek 7 and looked ahead to Gameweek 8.
Big-money Fantasy Premier League assets were the focus of much discussion, while Marcos Alonso and Wolves also faced scrutiny.
Our latest Community Round-up feature also looks over the various tournaments and mini-leagues that involve FFS users – including a new leader in our public FPL league who is on top of the world.
The Hottest Topics
Heavy hitters were the trending Fantasy assets at the beginning of the week, as we got the ball rolling by asking: what to do with Mohamed Salah?Â
Jose is Legend then kicked off a debate over which premium option is dispensable before Jealous Viper examined Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane head to head.
Kane was also the centre of discussion regarding Spurs’ injury problems and whether the absence of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in particular colours your judgement of the England striker.
Stoichkov#8 was also mulling over the pros and cons of Kane and his fellow big-money FPL players.
There were two members-only hot topics, meanwhile. Eden Wizard looked at whether Marcos Alonso has become less attacking of late, while Shake n Bake asked if Wolves are this year’s Burnley.
Collie01 analysed the medium-to-long-term fixtures and came up with some observations, while Liverpool’s run of matches after the international break was the focus of wasp3000‘s hot topic.
With attention back on Gameweek 8, we speculated on the breakout FPL players of this weekend before the ever-helpful G-Whizz rounded up the Doosra Stats, clean sheet probabilities and fixture odds.
Tamagotchi Massacre wanted to hear your general FPL advice tips, while Wolves Ay We demanded to know why you – yes, you – haven’t linked your FPL team to your profile page.
