Paul Pogba (£7.8m) returns to the Manchester United line-up as the Red Devils travel to Cardiff City on Saturday evening.

The Frenchman has been absent for the last three Premier League Gameweeks under Jose Mourinho, but new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown faith in him.

There are also starts for Marcus Rashford (£7.0m) and Anthony Martial (£7.3m) with Jesse Lingard (£6.7m) joining them in thr forward line.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer has gone with Luke Shaw (£4.9m), Phil Jones (£5.1m), Victor Lindelöf (£4.8m) and Ashley Young (£5.7m) for his back-four.

Neil Warnock made no surprise selections for Cardiff as Callum Paterson (£5.3m) continues to lead the line, with Victor Camarasa (£4.6m) operating just behind him, Josh Murphy (£4.8m) and Junior Hoilett (£5.0m) on the wings.

Cardiff City XI: Etheridge; Cunningham, Bamba, Morrison, Ecuele Manga; Arter, Gunnarsson; Murphy, Camarasa, Hoilett; Paterson.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Shaw, Jones, Lindelof, Young; Herrera, Matic, Pogba; Martial, Rashford, Lingard.

Young played like in his golden days, was playing as high up with rashford at times pushing forward. Even BT Sport mentioned it.

On corners and in direct free kicks too it seems

They said Liverpool on the TV but I just fact checked and Liverpool were champions at the time (Dec 1990) and 6 months later arsenal won the league.

So maybe they said “last time Palace won away at City, Liverpool ‘were’ champions.”

How does Lukaku fit in when he’s back?

              A) won’t be favoured , Rashford first choice

              B) will be sold in January

              C) will be rotated a lot with Rashford

              D) he is first choice, Rashford benched

              1. AndyCook
                  7 years, 3 months ago

I think he will work his way back in with Rashford pushed wide at times but generally it will be rotation. And what of Sanchez. It will be city level rotation with Pogba the mainstay
