Thinking of getting rid of Kane for Aguero

    Is it a good idea?

I’d prefer Kane over any other striker right now.

His form is decent and his fixtures are delicious. Including the Man Utd game. I can see Spurs thrashing them.

Ignoring 19 min cameo attacking returns in previous 10 PL games. 9 goals 5 assists. Crazy

I’ve been thinking about Firmino myself, could be a nice differential and seems to be finding the net again. Not for Kane though, would try to find another way in

It's a gamble that hopes that aguero comes back into form.

I was looking at aguero's longest draughts of goals yesterday and over the last 2 seasons he's only ever gone 4 games without scoring, three seasons back he has a gap of 8 games without scoring. (When fit)

He's normally consistent enough that it may pay off.

The problem with this is Kane is almost Mr consistency himself

I’d go Kane and Aguero but if I had to choose one right now it’d definitely be Kane.

    6. The Big Fella

The problem with Aguero for me is that he doesn't have enough output when playing away. If you watch the matches he goes deeper etc. I am assuming he has been told to help with getting/keeping the ball when they are away. That said, we don't know how Kane will do now Son has gone but with those fixtures, I am willing to wait and see.

    7. AndyCook
      7 years, 6 months ago

No I wouldn’t want Aguero. He is bound to see rotation and reduced minutes which for me indicates that he will end the season with less points than strikers at similar price points

Ultimately it was the players choice to join Bournemouth which you can’t blame him for but Warnock did indicate that he was speaking to Liverpool last week and they promised he would be joining Cardiff.

"To see it on television when I've done everything right and they have promised he is my player this week, it's a disgrace and a lack of class."

I don’t like Warnock but if what he says is true then it is pretty classless on Liverpool’s part.

That still happens in all parts of life. All that has changed is a lot more of it is formalised in contracts so you can sue for breach of contract when the other party doesn't fulfil their obligations.

Seems a bit sideways. Sterling has a toughy this week, but then 3 plum fixtures attacking wise. If you have no City attacking coverage other than Sterling i'd keep him.

Kane vs Utd is tempting though.

And Puncheon does play against defences who concede a lot of chances in the next 5 (WAT, sou, FUL, WHU)

Maybe if it's for a free

Agreed, but United, Arsenal, and Spurs have all had a nightmare against them at home this season. Very rarely get a hammering - think they've only conceded 3 once?

Main ones for me are the season ticker (ability to manipulate this to look at fixtures over any period and sort by difficulty) and the RMT (though this doesn’t seem to be taken care of so much recently). I’ll probably use the player comparison tool and player stats sections about 5-6 times a season each too.

I like the look of it. I have a feeling City might go on a run of wins now

Cheers, me too. Only thing is I don't have Salah and want him!

A: Sane and Auba to Salah and Mitro/Arnie/Rash?
    Or
B: Auba and Siggy/Martial to Salah and Kamara/Success?

      I'd keep Sane, so B.

Would you then go Kamara or Success?

Kamara, as he actually scores and is 0.1 cheaper (i think?).

Don’t like either but B if you insist.

What is it you don't like? 🙂 just feel Salah is essential. And this is the only way I'm getting him in. I have Kane, but not keen on loosing him.

    Thoughts on this WC Team?

    Etheridge
    Robertson VVD Luiz
    Sane Salah Pogba Richarlison
    Aguero Arnie Barnes

    Guita Camarasa Bednarek AWB

    1. Phil's Stamps
      • 15 Years

VVD to TAA and upgrade the bench or Barnes.

Maybe drop Robertson to TAA and Luiz to Either Digne or Pereira then upgrade Barnes to Rashford

Any help on my wildcard draft would be much appreciated!
    Currently looking at:

    Fab, Button
    Trent, Lovren, Digne, Doherty, AWB
    Salah, Hazard, Sane, Pogba, Richarlison
    Rashford, Arnie, Kamara

Any issues? Should I be worried about Pogba/Arnie yellow flags?

      thoughts:
      that midfield could be dynamite
Not sure on Lovren as he will lose his place when Gomez is back
maybe Etheridge Guita instead of your current keeper combo
is Kamara a good long term option?

Lovren will be dropped soon. Gomez soon to come back and we saw in the City game what a liability Mr Loverman can be.

Maybe swap for Watford def and play 352?

Damn Richarlison dropped in price without me noticing while on a wildcard.

I'm trying to bring him in - why are people getting rid!

That's rubbish compared to many similar priced or cheaper. Deulofeu 31 last 5 for 5.5m. Rich has 3 x 2pts last 5. That's enough reason for many to sell plus Everton goalless last 2 and looked a mess

Richarilson's next opponent, BOU, has conceded 12 goals in the last four, no other team has conceded more.

Rich would be good if he managed to shoot on target more often

18 shots on target for the season which is just as many as Sterling and Felipe Anderson. He's in good company 🙂

38 shots in the box, which is the second most of any MF. Only Salah has more.

      Agree.
Keeping Siggy for at least 3-4 gw's because of the fixtures.

Why is there a picture of Rafa in this article?

Was it picked at random or is there a subliminal message in it, are Newcastle about to be sold at a discounted price.

A if you have good captain options already (Salah, Hazard, Auba, etc), B if you don't

Have Salah and Haz also - no Auba unfortunately. Still go for A?

        1. AuFeld
          • 9 Years

Yes. You'll be captaining either Salah or Hazard for the foreseeable future. Not worth bringing in Kane if you're not going to cap him. Spread the funds around with Erikson and Arnie (or maybe Rashford if you have the $).

I'm playing the free hit this week since my team was in a bit of a mess with players out/ unfavourable fixtures. Any suggestions or improvements on the below? Cheers.

    Ederson
    Taa Robbo Alonso Pereira
    Salah Haz Rich Sane
    Mitro Vardy

    Boruc Deeney Gunarsson Bednarak

Who was out that warranted the use of the free hit chip this week? You'll likely have a lot more players out during the blank gameweek.
