Chelsea are playing leicester next. Who should I leave on the bench zouma for chelsea or Perez for leicester?

      Zouma

Chelsea looks pretty vulnerable at the back

Have both in my current XI, see below.
      What are your alternatives?

If i must have a choice then bench Zouma and play Perez.

Leave perez, I have him as well

I started with 93 points and think i have to save FT...

I'don't see a clear bench player this GW (only Button).

    Current on this XI:

    Ryan
    Lundstram, VVD, Zouma
    Perez, Salah, Sterling, Martial
    King, Kane, Wesley

    1. Sub: Aké
    2. Sub: Dendoncker
    3. Sub: Söyüncü

Should i trust in Zouma & Lundstram with home games or go with one of Aké/Söyüncü?

Can I just ask politely, why does it matter how many points you got?

Not arguing that Rash is and could be great pick over the season, but i find it interesting how small margins can make a big difference.

He himself said that he is not no.1 penalty taker in the teeam so it is yet to be seen what is the deal with penalties in that United team.

Imagine if one of Pogba or Martial took that penalty, noone would be talking of Rash and his 6pts and Pogba/Martial would be considered a must own.

Again, not saying he isn't a good option just find it curious how one detail can make a big,big difference.

Fully agree. This is why people shouldn’t get so carried away. As you say, it so easily could have been Pogba or Martial that got the big haul and therefore would be flavour of the week.

    2. Karan_G14
      • 10 Years

He is still a great option imo and the double could be worth it given the fixtures.

Its just that Martial is 1m cheaper, he's a mid so extra points for goal/cs, playing as No 9 and might even take some pens since Rashford he's not the No 1 penalty taker.
All this just makes Martial more appealing for now.

    3. Pukki Blinders
      • 7 Years

To be fair he passed the eye test aswell, played a lot better than Martial.

      1. Rossonero
        • 11 Years
        7 years, 18 days ago

No argue there, i fully agree but if someone else scored that penalty he wouldn't have 10% in transfers he have now even tho he looked better.

    4. mattyrobinson
      • 16 Years
      7 years, 18 days ago

If they let whoever wins the pen take it, then I'd imagine Martial might take more over the course of the season.

    5. Hotdogs for Tea
      • 11 Years
      7 years, 18 days ago

small margins but he did take the penalty and took it well, as he did a few times last year.

There is not much competition for Rashford’s position and his price has to be compared with other forwards. I reckon he will out score very other striker in the game this season except Aguero.

Regarding Martial, you simply can’t put your mortgage on him being 100% nailed whereas there are other mids in the game at that price that are nailed. I can see Dan James getting game time and there is a huge choice generally for OGS in midfield

All in all Rashford + a mid seems better than Martial + a forward for the same overall price .... but Rashford will be 9.5 mill in about 6 weeks time

Any advice on this bunch? Have 0.5 itb. Should I keep the FT or drop Ings for let's say Pukki or Wesley?

    Pope - Heaton

    Zouma - TAA - Digne - Montoya - Cathcart

    Salah - Martial - KDB - Iwobi - Dendoncker

    Kane - King - Ings

Should I do Fraser to Martial this week (have Wilson)?

I think its a move that will be very popular for GW3 when Bou face City.
Martial will definitely rise before that and I would effectively have to make a 0.5m downgrade elsewhere.

I'm in exactly the same frame of mind. have wilson/fraser and think you've got ti give them villa away before jumping either of them...probably fraser as you say. I changed mcginn to grealish last minute because it didn't feel right not maxing out my 100mil! but a similar player at that price covers any rises in say martial.

Torn on whether to hold for another week to avoid a points hit and more info or to act now.

Sterling is essential and it was an error in judgement to go for KDB (rationale was that a 200 point season for him could get close enough to Sterling).

    Options are:
    A) KDB + Kane -> Sterling + Rashford (I don't have Martial or any other Spurs attackers)
    B) KDB + Fraser -> Sterling + McGinn (I have King for Bou)

Price rises worth taking the hit this early in the season?

i would honestly just wait, Sterling is not going to get a hatrick every week.
KDB could easily outscore him this week, Kane and Fraser could also do well.

Rather do it for free next week .

this. i have kdb over sterling. not having both salah and sterling could prove to be a big differential when you look at those teams forward lines that have players like king as their premium striker. time will tell and your not going to learn that from one game week.

        1. Valar(Keith)
          • 16 Years
          7 years, 18 days ago

This.. Its not kdb vs Sterling.. Its kdb + 8.5/9 mid or forward vs Sterling + 6.5/6 mid or forward. If you plan on captaining Salah most weeks both options should be viable long term

          1. Valar(Keith)
            • 16 Years
            7 years, 18 days ago

In my case it was kdb + Kane vs Sterling + Vardy which worked out to the same in the end

    4. Valar(Keith)
      • 16 Years
      7 years, 18 days ago

Eh.. Kdb got 7 points with just an assist which is what you'd want from him most week. Sterling got 20.. Which is about 13 more than his average ppm. If you swap now for a hit you'll be starting 16 points behind Sterling owners.. If you keep kdb long term you'll be just about 50 points being Sterling end of season but with 2.5 ul use elsewhere. If Sterling blanks this week and kdb scored they'll be nearly equal again. Stick to your guns else don't take risks.

KDB was my first pick this year. You could still go Sterling over Kane at some point but someone like jota/tammy/pukki is going to have to look like bagging 20+ at around 7mil to justify weakening my forward line personally. i've gone Wilson/Kane. If Wilson can be that player then theres always that sterling option. can't see this happening mind. Salah and Kane will also play every week.

I’m trying to take less hits this year and being a little more patient.
I’m definitely saving this week. There’s so many ways to go in GW3.
    Like Fraser,Wilson > Dendonker,Kane
Or a United asset, another week of seeing how things have settled won’t do any harm.
I’m a little worried about Barkley as well so another option next week could be Barkley,Wilson > McGinn,Rashford.
    We shall see.

Last season I would have made the transfer but I’ve come into the season trying to go against taking a player out who isn’t injured or banned.
Taking a player out because of no form is fair enough but one game can not dictate a teams form.
Bournemouth could win this week and Fraser,Wilson do well.
United could draw 0-0. Who knows.

              Yeah I agree with you.
I guess im being impatient this year as I have scored 72 points (1.8m) where as everyone seems to be on 80+.
Had a great start last season and finished in Top 10k because I was patient throughout the season and I should probably stick to that.

Hi guys, Yes or No for Bilva > Siggy?

Any alternatives ? Feel like Siggy unlucky not to get double figures and 5 nice fixtures up coming up.

Could do martial but think that’s more of a wait and see.

    Cheers !

      Tough call.
Everton aren’t exactly pulling up trees but it is their first home game against a Watford side who shipped 3 against Brighton.

Will Bilva come in for Mahrez? Umm

Moura to Martial all ready a no brainer?

Will Moura start in GW3 or will Son push him on the bench?

I actually want to get Rashford but then I need to be patient for 2FT

      It's a brainer but I can't see returns @mac and a start v new unless Poch's had a massive change of heart, he doesn't play 3 strikers, it's 2 dm, 2 am and 2 strikers.

I can see Moura doing well v City as he should have space to run in behind defence which Villa denied him. But Martial v Wolves not so easy I think. So I would keep another week.

I am a United fan and sort of agree. Still had him in my team, and will continue to have him. Looks rubbish lots of games, but often gets goals/assists even in those games. Think he is the only player for United who looks bad and scores goals, Rashford and Lingard are mostly the opposite: Look pretty good, but few goals/assists.

This is not true. Plenty of united fans said they were impressed by the kind of goal he scored.

That's the price of 3 top end premiums. Youd need to downgrade 1, or trash 1 budget to a playing 4.5 to upgrade another.

The Scout Notes article for Man Utd v Chelsea (and Newcastle v Arsenal) states that it is the final one in the series for GW1.
However, I can't find an article for Burnely v Southampton. Am I missing something, or has it been omitted in error?
    Any help gratefully received.

Belgian media suggest that he could start again against Man City. They don't know why he was benched. They suggest that Pochettino makes weird selections sometimes to prove that the team doesn't run on individuals but on the whole squad.
