It is a short but important week coming up for Fantasy Premier League managers.

There are some big decisions to be made ahead of Gameweek 3 as some prepare to spend their two free transfers, others consider the Wildcard and that’s before we even get on to the captaincy.

So we’ve put together another panel of fine FPL minds to help you with any dilemmas.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Simon March – Former FPL champion who won the title in 2014/15 and has provided excellent advice ever since.

Always Cheating – The USA’s number one FPL podcast duo comprising of Josh and Brandon.

Gregor – Long-time Fantasy Football Scout moderator.

Doosra – Fantasy Football Scout user with some rather popular custom tables.

I am already on a -4 this week.

Digne and Moura may not start / play, and bench is weak.

        No United attacking coverage.

        These were my main concerns

Is this a serious question? You have a template team already, a lot would wildcard to this type of team. The key is can you select the NEXT template team, if you can then wildcard to that

You have good team, just few chances and you have a great team so be patient. Moura to Martial next week.

    My team:
    Button(Pope)
Laporte, Digne, Robertson, Van Dijk, Rico
    Salah(C), Sterling, Martial, Fraser (Drinkwater)
    Wilson, (Long, Greenwood)

    Suggestions?
Do you think it is a good idea to change out fraser, Wilson and take martial pukki/wood?
    Other ideas?

    Thank you!

    Best option below?

    A) Roll FTs
    B) Robbo & Perez > AWB & Martial (free)
    C) Robbo & King > AWB & Pukki (free)

    Pope - Button
    Robertson - VVD - Digne - Zinchenko - Lundstram

    King - Jota - Greenwood

    What WC team is better

    Pope - 4.0
    VVD - AWB - Montoya - Soyuncu - 4.0
    Salah - Sterling - KDB - Ceballos - 4.5
    Kane - Pukki - 4.5
    0.4 ITB
    (4-4-2)

    Pope - 4.0
    VVD - AWB - Montoya - Soyuncu - 4.0
    Mane - Sterling - KDB - Son - Ceballos

so basically Salah & Kane vs Mane & Son

A wc would give me a great team including KDB and Martial, Laporte and Emerson. However, it would leave me with a forward line of only Pukki and 2x4.5. The team looks great playing 4-5-1. The worry is the flexibility of trades if there are injuries. Risky to go w/o kdb and Martial or more risky losing your wc so early?

Play Wilson and no transfer, considering Watford are atrocious I suggest bench holebas for Wilson

Whats more of a priority... to get rid of King or Perez?

Do you need the one left to play? If so, get rid of King. Perez has better fixtures.

    Pope
    Taa, Robertson, Zincenko, Coleman
    Salah, Sterling, Fraser, Perez
    Puki, Wilson

    A. Wilson, Fraser, Taa/Robertston, to Kane, Martial, 4.0 (Start Dendoker or Lundstram)

    B. Wilson, Fraser, Perez to Rashford, Martial, Mount

Is it silly to have Pope as my number one keeper and button as the sub keeper? Think I'd rather have Pope over Ryan but obviously if Pope doesn't play if have no reserve keeper to come in.

Get Hart if you have the spare 0.5...

Thats fine. It’s what I have.

Very unlikely that Pope doesn’t play. Worst case in which he doesn’t, you can sort it the following week.

Waste of 0.5 getting another keeper who you don’t envisage plying.

Just seen Bournemouth's fixtures after Man City, not bad.. Will I regret doing Wilson ----> Pukki..?

Dunno. I just like Wilson full stop. Bought him for the stretch and planning on keeping it that way.

Same here. And 5 + 5 is not as good as expected but it's certainly not bad.

        I also have Pukki though.

I'm sticking with Wilson. If he bags against City everyone will pile on him.

Whey someone talking sense, his only bad fixture is City then they good fixtures again. And he scored last season vs city if I remember correctly. But everyone wants to ditch for the Wilson hauls after city I guess 😀

Might as well tbh assuming u have pukki already. There is like nothing else there in that forward bracket aside Jota, king and Pukki. Let’s say you wanted king out and already have Pukki then you probably actually want to upgrade a midfielder to replace him so that’s like two transfers to get king out. Hardly worth it imo. He has been trash granted but two transfers is a big no from me. And he doesn’t need to be good to score a penalty

What to do with this team? With 1 FT!

    DDG
    VVD KWP Zinchenko Lundstram
    Salah Sterling Martial Dendoncker
    Aubameyang Deeney

    Button Wilson Hayden Rico

Planning to do Aubameyang to Kane with 1 FT!
