It is a short but important week coming up for Fantasy Premier League managers.

There are some big decisions to be made ahead of Gameweek 3 as some prepare to spend their two free transfers, others consider the Wildcard and that’s before we even get on to the captaincy.

So we’ve put together another panel of fine FPL minds to help you with any dilemmas.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Simon March – Former FPL champion who won the title in 2014/15 and has provided excellent advice ever since.

Always Cheating – The USA’s number one FPL podcast duo comprising of Josh and Brandon.

Gregor – Long-time Fantasy Football Scout moderator.

Doosra – Fantasy Football Scout user with some rather popular custom tables.

    What do you think about Mount, is he a regular starter now ? Looks good if he is, and on all set pieces.

      I think a lot depends upon what’s gone on in that dressing room in the past. Lampard may well look on Mount as his man in preference to some iffy characters...no matter how good they are. We can’t know that but i’m leaning towards it in my minds eye.

    Really not sure what to do. Players in CAPS are potential issues (along with having no united or spurs players)

    A) Save FT
    B) Robbo -> AWB (frees up funds for other transfers next week)
    C) Robbo & Perez -> AWB & Martial -4 (likely to give me 0.4 better team value)
    D) Robbo & Perez & King -> AWB & Martial & Pukki -8 (likely to give me 0.6 better team value)

      I have already done Wilson>Pukki to catch the rise then Tielemans>Martial last night if that helps. Can you turn Perez and King into Martial and Pukki?

      Sterling, Mane, KDB & Kane are likely to hit 200+ points this season. Thats some serious firepire as the core of the team. Not sure manu defenders will match that.

        Fixtures better for KDB though... If everton show they can be more of an attacking threat I may give him a few more games but the signs haven't been great so far

    Since joining Liverpool; Firmino has scored in every home game against Arsenal. Mane has scored in every home game against Arsenal. Salah has scored in every home game against Arsenal. Firmino has scored first in all of them

    Since Klopp became Liverpool manager Liverpool have scored at least 3 goals in 6 out 7 times they faced Arsenal

    Happy to lock Salah as my captain but still slightly wary of Sterling

    Thought I was still on Mount, Rashford and pukki.

    Villa's Trezeguet has some great attacking stats in the members area but I can't say I've seen him play. Is he any good? Great fixtures for Villa in six of the next seven.
