This week, Joe is joined by Az and David to discuss the key Fantasy Premier League talking points ahead of Gameweek 3.

The next round of action is an important one for Fantasy managers as many will be wielding their two free transfers.

Already bandwagons have begun to form, so our Scoutcasters will be discussing how best to approach these.

Naturally, Teemu Pukki (£6.7m) is a prime example after he scored a hat-trick in Gameweek 2.

However, we will also be examining Liverpool assets after a lacklustre start to the season at both ends of the pitch.

    Guys do you think fpl should notify you when selling a player who has risen 0.1? On a wildcard tinkering with transfers and transferred out mcginn and nos realised if i want him back i have to 5.6.. I know its partly my own ignorance but surely a little warning on the confirm transfer

        It definitely is possible, a simple value calculator on the confirm transfer pop up, not that hard its an automated process

    Do you think this needs a WC? No kane this weekend and worried about players I plan on getting rising (Mount / Martial, AWB) and others falling (Perez). Mini-league rivals have used wildcards. Plan to move Abraham on next.

          Prob too tough as would need to jiggle the values of one keeper and a defender by 0.5 to make 1m to add to the 5m you could have by removing firm to enable Ceballos to mane. 442 formation.

          But then on the other hand firm could be a good differential.

            It's actually 6m required to go from Ceballos to Mane so quite a leap. I'd have to give up Kane, which is bonkers ahead of Newcastle, or KdB and he's looking primed to do amazing vs bou, BHA, nor, WAT.

            Firmino has a great record vs Arsenal, surprisingly. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for the input.

        Adrian can be benched as I have Pope.
        KWP can become Boly or Christiansen.
        Otamendi can become Stones or Emerson. (Stones out for 10 days)

            Cheers! Nah, I don't trust Zinchenko. He's Man City's weakest link and offers nothing going forward. He did have that one shot last week which was surprising but he has such a reluctance to get forward and cross the ball.

            Otamendi has a bit of goal threat so happy to punt on him.

          You need at least 2 decent defenders. Having 1 5m defender and bench fodder for the rest to fit in kane with 3 big hitters in midfield is not very clever when you going to want to fix your defence the gameweek after.

          I've just sold Montoya on my WC for Dunk. I thought Montoya would have some assist threat but it's not looking that way, and Dunk still is a threat from corners.

      On a WC, 0.3 in the bank. Hoping some transfer jiggery pokery this week will mean I can make up that 0.2 by Saturday.
