Fantasy Premier League managers are feeling particularly lost at the moment.

The template, of premium players and cheap assets alike, is simply not delivering. Arrows are turning red for most.

Has the FPL template disappeared? Or, is it there but so poorly performing that we can’t even see it.

In this latest Scoutcast episode Joe, Neale and Karam attempt to find this absent  FPL template.

A change at the back is needed, according to Neale, while Karam looks at the heavy hitter let downs and Joe proposes some new faces to spark the existing, template back to life.

Along the way they attempt to find this year’s ‘Jiménez’ and realise they don’t have far to look.

Manchester City rotation also tops the bill, as the crew look to decipher Pep Guardiola’s latest team sheet clues.

Elsewhere, Joe takes his turn to choose a differential, Neale reveals the best teams for clean sheets and another smooth week for FPL’s world number one also comes under scrutiny.

There’s still time for the trio’s transfer and captain plans to be unveiled as they hope the controversial template can finally deliver.

    Will Gazza likely to face any competition from Vorm until Lloris returns?

    Does anyone think Sterling & Cantwell to Dilva & Martial is wise? I could also then afford to upgrade VVD to TAA.

      I would hold on for at least 2 GW's before going Martial.

      Rather wait otherwise he could end up crocked on your bench again.

      Go look at his minutes played for each season in FPL. That will indicate to not touch him.

    I have been at it again fiddling with my team, change after change after change after change in mind but screw it!

    I am sticking to my plan of 3 changes yesterday with one FT for each GW10, 11 and 12.

    If I go with the fiddling I am looking at about 8 changes over the next 4. Feck it.

    Hits will feck your rank up in epic proportions.

    Looking at potential replacements for McGinn and I'm considering an upgrade to Zaha as a bit of a punt (really surprised his ownership is so high at 8.8%). Palace's fixtures are poor on the whole, but he always looks dangerous, is pretty much nailed and I reckon he could get some returns at the Emirates this weekend. Am I losing it, or does this seem reasonable.

        Yeah I also was thinking that, he's always a popular pick for GW1. He's a differential in that sense, I'd hope to still be competing at a level above the dead teams despite the shambles of GW8 and 9 haha

      McGinn has awful fixtures but excellent underlying stats. Id rather go to CHO or even Traore ( if you really need funds). I think Zaha will disappoint

          Utd are rubbish, especially away from home but still haven't been conceding many, I don't think it'll be long until Cant's place is under threat from a fit again Hernandez too. Rico worth it for his set piece threat and Watford's misfiring attack.

    Afternoon all,

    Any thoughts on what to do with the below? Was planning on Son & Pukki > Martial & Vardy -4 but reconsidering now.

    Gazzaniga / Button

    Soyuncu / Tomori / Lowton / Rico / Lundstram

    Salah / Son / Sterling / Mount / Dendonker

    Auba / Abraham / Pukki

    Hello friends!

    My team has too much Spurs. They won in CL but vs awefull side. I want to get rid of them all eventually.

    2 Fts, 0,3 ITB

    Pope (Button)
    Lundstram, Söyuncu, Tomori (Guilbert, Aurier)
    Son, Mane, KDB, Mount (Cantwell)
    Auba, Vardy, Tammy

    Which is the best solution for me?
    a) Son -> Dilva/Bilva
    b) Son+Auba -> Sterling+Jimenez
    c) Son+Auba -> Aguero+Dilva/Bilva
    d) Son+Auba+Aurier -> B or C + defender 5,7-6,2 max (-4pts)

    Thanks for the help! 😀

      B and bench aurier with a look to ship once the gw starts, dont really see a benefit from a hit to give him the boot tbh.
      Monitor Matip and switch
      alternatively go cheapie wiv Rico and save the funds for future use

        I was leaning towards C but maybe its too much City since they havent been that convincing and you are right about the hit. I have good enough starting defenders.

        I really fancy getting TAA back after the City game. Maybe Matip as well and maybe even for next GW. Thanks for the insight

    He's a very streaky player and tends to get his goals in bursts so last night might be the beginning of a streak. Flip side is he and spurs have been fairly poor, and liverpool away is a tough fixture...

        Players want to play in the CL, and the manager wants to win. Its as simple as that. People on here seem to think the CL group stages is a second rate tournament and that the teams should prioritize games against the likes of Watford and Norwich over CL group stages.
