FanTeam announces the third instalment of the World Championship of Online Fantasy Football!

Do you have what it takes to become a World Champion? If you can climb to the top in the final, you can cash out €30,000! The prize pool in the final is guaranteed to be €100,000.

The buy-in in the final is €1,050, but don’t worry, it is very possible to get into the final without paying the big bucks. Actually, the vast majority of the finalists will qualify via satellites, which are running many times a week from now until the end of December.

The final in itself will consist of two Gameweeks of Premier League in daily Fantasy style where the points from round two gets added to round one to get the final score.

The two final rounds are independent, so you will be able to create a brand new team in round two without getting any penalties – this is the real DFS experience.

The final starts on the 28th of December, so we recommend you start trying to qualify as soon as possible!

These are the pay-outs, based on a prize pool of €100,000. The pool can obviously never be smaller than this, but it could be bigger, in which case the extra money will be added to the prizes.

In the tournament lobby, you will find satellites for the WCOFF every day. There will be different buy-in levels. As of now, in the lobby there are buy-ins of €2.75, which lead to another satellite with €55 buy-in, but there are €11 and €55 buy-in contests that lead directly to the final too.

There will be other variants as well. Many of the satellites will be based on Premier League matches, but other leagues and even other sports will be used to get a big variety of buy-ins.

Some satellites award tickets to other satellites, while some award tickets to the final.

If you are unsure which one it is, please check the ‘details’ button for the given satellite in the lobby.

I have this with Cantwell instead of dendo. The defence is Pope, TAA, Chilwell, Lundstram, Rico and Kelly with 0.4 ITB for an upgrade soon.

I've just been playing round with a WC and came up with this, which I like. Doubt I'll press the button, but it's tempting.

      Henderson
      Trent, Doherty, Lundstram, Soyuncu
      Son, Mane, Pulisic
      Abraham, Jesus, Vardy

      Button, Fleck, Kelly, Hayden

different. Would still prefer a mf in there rather than 4 at the back.

Bobby F and KdB? Lose pulisic? Downgrade Doh.

        hendo
        TAA Soy Lundy
        Son Mane KdB Perez

I do like that setup, it's essentially Doherty, Pulisic and Jesus, vs de Bruyne, Perez and Firmino.

When he's started, he's returned this season - West Ham, Everton, Palace, Villa, Shakhtar, Atalanta, Preston. It's basically a 3 week punt tho.

Still don't trust United, can see Spurs and City beating them, but totally get why others are looking at Rashford.

My current team is similar, I'm concerned about no Spurs and only 1 Che attacker but don't think it can justify a WC, tempted though. My current team is as follows, any thoughts on H.Barnes ? I got him and Doherty last week as pre WC 'punts'.

        Henderson
        Trent, Lundy, Soy, Doherty
        Mane, KDB, Barnes
        Auba, Tammy, Vardy
        (Cantwell, Saka, Montoya)

I like Barnes and Doherty, both could do well this week. Re Spurs, I don't think attacking cover is a must, they won't play West Ham every week.

GW14 good to go? My team is in a 4-4-2 shape although this week I'm going for the 3-5-2. Here's what I've got:

    Heaton
    Robbo Lundy Soy
    Mane KDB Son Tielemans Cantwell
    Vardy Tammy
    ------
    Ryan Rico Mings Wickham

I just feel like that win against Everton could build some momentum for Norwich, and against Arsenal at home they'd surely take their chances.

Held on to Sterling, regretting not moving to Jimi/Spurs... but now Sterling’s at Newcastle... Choices!

2 FTs. Early thoughts. What do you think?

    A) Sterling + Connolly > Pulisic + Jiminez (1.8 left over)
    B) Sterling > Son (+ Connolly to Jota?)
    C) Other?

    Currently 2FT 0.1ITB
    Pope
    TAA / Tomori / Soyuncu / Lund

Any help appreciated, a little bit stuck to what to do at the moment...
    2 FT / £0.3M ITB

    Pope / Woodman
    TAA / Robbo / Mendy / Lundstram / Rico
    Mane / KDB / Martial / Mount / Nakamba
    Vardy / Abraham / Pukki

    A) Mendy + Pukki -> C Taylor / Kelly + Jimenez (play 3-4-3 in next 4 fixtures with Lundstram always in the starting 11... still a little bit tempted to keep Pukki one more week for Arsenal (H) as it may be a better fixture than Jimenez's Sheff Utd (H))

    B) Mendy + Pukki -> Ings + Pereira / Chilwell / Soyuncu (would create me a benching headache every week into playing a Lei defender or Lundstram in a 3-4-3 and also i think Ings will be managed in the packed Christmas schedule)

    C) Mendy + Pukki + Mount (-4) -> Soyuncu + Greenwood + Son (play 4-4-2 every week for the next 4 fixtures)

    Any other moves?

Really think KDB will offer poor value in the next fixtures as i believe Sterling and Jesus will offer major goal involvement with Aguero out so something like KDB + Martial + Vardy -> Maddison + Son + Jesus (-4) could be on the cards...

    Cheers

So with that in mind is Martial + Jimmy to Zaha + Jesus for free madness?

Firmino is a nice differential for the upcoming fixtures at least, much cheaper way of doubling on Liverpool.

Him to Rashford or Jimenez would save you some money though if you wanted to upgrade elsewhere

Got some tough decisions to make... with 2FT and 0m itb

    Pope -- heaton
Taa Lundy Tomori -- Rico Lascelles
Sterling Kdb Martial Mount -- Cantwell
    Tammy Vardy Rash

A: Sterling + Lascelles >> Mane + Taylor....but not keen to have martial/rashford/mount from next gw
B: Sterling + Mount + Rashford >> Mane + Pulisic + Jimenez (-4)...but loosing rashford doesnt seem rigth
C: Sterling + Mount >> Son + Pulisic + 1.5m....like this move but no mane could hurt badly! could do martial/rash > mane/greenwood in gw15 possibly

    Martial Salah Pulisic Maddison

    Tielemans Mings Lascelles

Pretty happy with this squad, just not convinced by martial so will give him villa... I plan martial/Tielemans to Son/Fleck after this week.

Still not as good as LIV LEI & CHE's fixtures.
12m is too much for what he's (not) been offering.
And can we really trust Pep to play the way it'd be convenient for our FPL teams?... I don't think so.

Have the exact amount of money for Cantwell > Pulisic for free. But it also means a triple up on Chelsea (Tammy, Mount) could alternatively do Mount > Pulisic. Also have enough for Montoya or Willems > Robbo for a LFC defence double up. Thoughts? 1FT 2.9 ITB WC intact.

    Pope Button
    TAA Chilwell Willems Montoya Lundy
    Mane KDB Son Mount Cantwell
    Vardy Tammy Greenwood

I’ve always wondered about ‘playing your own game’ and now with this hit in mind I’m going to continue to do so... albeit losing TAA + Sterling could be a disaster for rank. Thoughts?
