Kelly and Guaita start for injury-hit Palace

The key Fantasy Premier League assets all start for Crystal Palace against Brighton.

Wilfried Zaha (£6.7m), Martin Kelly (£4.3m) and Vicente Guaita (£5.1m) have all survived a recent wave of injuries.

Roy Hodgson is without Patrick van Aanholt (£5.5m), Joel Ward (£4.4m) and Jeffrey Schlupp (£5.5m) through injury while Mamadou Sakho (£5.0m) is serving the second of a three-match suspension.

However, Andros Townsend (£5.6m) and Gary Cahill (£4.5m) are missing from the team.

Meanwhile, Neal Maupay (£5.8m) starts up-front for Brighton while Yves Bissouma (£5.0m) gets a rare appearance in central midfield.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Riedewald, Dann, Tomkins, M Kelly; McArthur, Milivojevic, Kouyaté; Zaha, Benteke, Ayew.

      Ramsdale. Good fixtures for a while. Not a transfer waiting to happen which Gazz is.

      That said, it's close. I bought Gazz at 4.5m so I'm planning to keep him.

    Yes, TAA and Salah will both not play. But, that being said, feels wrong to ditch Liverpool assets when I could bench them and play Traoré, and Kelly/Rico. Don't really know what to do tbh.

      You have 2 free transfers use them and then wildcard next week or week after, you have to use it anyway in week 19 or 20. Your not loosing any value on Salah so take him out. Few suggestions

    Man I distinctly remember weighing up my options in GW 14. I had 2FTs and a host of options. These were the 4 I remember weighing up.

    A) Salah + Cantwell = 53 points (+Rico's 9 off the bench)
    B) Son + Pulisic = 35 points
    C) Rashford + Alli = 64 points
    D) Firmino + Pulisic = 19 points

    Of course I went Son + Pulisic. That difference of 29 points if I had gone Rash + Alli would put me in the top 10K instead of my current ~40K or so. It's really crazy to see these pivot points looking back.

    Heck even Salah + Cantwell would have been better. If I picked the disaster option, I'd be down 16 points.

      You need to understand this is whats called variance. I can imagine you made a desicion after long thinking. So what has really changes actually?

      Nothing. You have only got 1 extra samplesize which is what happend right now this season, this period. You still dont know what the correct desicion is.

      You need to imagine yourself in the same situation over and over again. Thats the only way to figure out what the correct choice is.

      So dont feel bad about it if you made your choice based on all the information you had. Thats resultoriented thinking and the wrong way.

      I think you really need to take a step back from FPL mate - maybe a break for the rest of the season and focus on other things? It’s easy to start getting too involved with this stuff.

      I have the budget to punt on Aguero after selling TAA for Kelly and somehow having 7.8 in the bank. I can go Greenwood to Kun on my 2nd FT if confirmed fit.

      With no clear captaincy options and in the midst of a terrible season, I am warming up to this idea.

    Pogback. I have a feeling that Pogba's imminent return to the Man Utd team will finally give them the structure they need to break teams down and start providing consistent returns for the likes of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood.

    McT and Fred are OK at breaking play down, but Utd have been missing a creative midfielder who can transition from defence to attack and play the quality passes the the likes of Martial will feed off. Lingard doesn't really provide this type of service.

    A 4-3-3 (or 4-2-3-1) with McTominay, Fred and Pogba supporting Rash Martial and James/Greenwood should make a huge difference. I realise Pogba isn't everyone's cup of tea, but when on form he's a quality midfielder who can create loads of chances.

    Is anyone else keeping a close watch on Pogba's return to start loading up on Man Utd attackers?
