While Manchester City v West Ham United has fallen victim to Storm Ciara, the Premier League’s other scheduled game on Sunday goes ahead.

Barring any late developments, Sheffield United v Bournemouth will kick off at 14:00 GMT.

The Blades are unchanged from Gameweek 25, meaning that John Lundstram (£5.0m) is benched for the third league match in a row.

Lundstram was the most-sold ‘defender’ of Gameweek 26 but is still in 43.3% of Fantasy Premier League teams overall and almost two-thirds of all top 10k squads, although his effective ownership statistics suggest a significant number of those benched him ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

Of course, with City v West Ham now postponed and not guaranteed to be rescheduled within the winter break, Lundstram could well be auto-subbed into many of those sides.

Sander Berge (£5.0m) is handed his Bramall Lane debut, while Billy Sharp (£5.6m) makes his third successive start up front.

Dean Henderson (£5.1m), George Baldock (£5.1m) and John Fleck (£5.1m), who each enjoy double-digit ownerships in the top 10,000, all start.

Eddie Howe has made only one change to his Bournemouth side, with Andrew Surman (£4.7m) replacing the suspended Jefferson Lerma (£4.8m) in midfield.

Josh King (£6.1m) and Jack Stacey (£4.3m) are among the substitutes after six-week absences.

Diego Rico (£4.3m), who still sits in almost 25% of teams within the top 10k, also starts at left-back.

The Cherries have failed to score in four of their last five away matches, while Sheffield United have kept five shut-outs on home soil this season.

Sheffield United XI: Henderson; O’Connell, Egan, Basham; Stevens, Fleck, Norwood, Berge, Baldock; McBurnie, Sharp.

Bournemouth XI: Ramsdale; Smith, Francis, Ake, Rico; Surman, Gosling, Billing; H Wilson, C Wilson, Fraser.

11 goals in the Premier League (and in one of the worst teams for a while) is not too shabby tbf.

There’s a genre of striker like this, isn’t there? Gayle, Rhodes, Nugent, Austin etc etc... Boss the Championship, not quite Premier League

Man Utd (when they had the bomb alert) was a couple of days.
Last season, the City/Everton fixture got announced 10 days before it was as played.
Then there’s the FA Cup game with Tranmere this season, got sorted very quickly.

    Oscars tonight.

    Hope Joker wins Best Picture.

Too many rubbish movies winning recently, IMO. Too much focus on artistic cinema and the moral of the story in recent times. Was better when movies that were hugely successful at the box office won. The fact that the Academy were considering a 'Best Popular Film' Award shows how they have moved away from allowing successful movies to win.

Not chance Joker can win it.

      Parasite or 1917.

Joker is bit overrated. Great acting by Phoenix but movie is average tbf

1917 was boring. Another nomination just because of who the director is and the cinematography (all the 'one shot' crap). Haven't seen Parasite. The Irishman was also drawn out.

Tough one. I’m undecided yet. I think I prefer Grealish > Traore at the moment. Will probably be back and forth over the next week or so.

      That’s the plan

Though if it’s rearranged for 29 then I might just hold and play fodder in 28. But that’s a huge gamble with the risk there is rotation in 27 in between CL and cup final as well as in 29.

Pardon my ignorance here but any City Captainers (Aguero/KDB/etc) it falls to the vice captain and the fixture itself? Is it just a case of if you have any CIty/Westham players you are SOL?

Don't know what SOL means but you get 0 from captain and vice-captain if they're from the same fixture and it gets postponed. It's why I always VC from a different match (unless in a DGW).

He was awful bar the goal IMO.
Lost the possession few times. Looked off the pace too. I don't expect him to win it back soon. We're forgetting there is Besic too to compete for the same spot

          It's basically his:
          Auba Traore Robbo +4
          Against my:
          Vardy Son VVD Lascells

I don't get most of the discussions - I remember matches being cancelled due to snow( in other leagues probably) and happening next day or so. What makes people so sure that M.City cannot play this Tue/Wed? They don't have a match and it'll make sense (to me) as they will still get a break

PL wrote that winter break should be respected and ko competitive or friendlies should be played. Arranging a PL match takes more time now than 50 years ago. It involves police and safety arrangement, personnel is probably on leave etc. And don't forget TV schedule.

It's not as much of a logistical headache as you're suggesting. The problem is that the actual football is ancillary to money generation and BAU; the game continues to lose its way through a blinkered pursuit and prioritisation of financial gain, and wholesale commodification of the sport at all costs.
