De Bruyne and Mahrez benched for EFL Cup final

Gameweek 28 has already reached its conclusion but there is another significant match taking place this afternoon between two Premier League sides.

Manchester City and Aston Villa meet in today’s EFL Cup final, with kick-off at Wembley at 16:30 GMT.

City and Villa, along with Arsenal and Sheffield United, blanked in Gameweek 28 as a result of their involvement in today’s final.

Man City v Arsenal and Aston Villa v Sheffield United remain unscheduled at the time of writing.

Pep Guardiola has made eight changes from the side that beat Real Madrid in midweek, with Kevin De Bruyne (£10.7m) and Riyad Mahrez (£8.4m) among the substitutes.

Sergio Aguero (£11.9m) and Raheem Sterling (£11.7m) start in attack.

City have another cup match, against Sheffield Wednesday, still to come before they take on their cross-city rivals in Gameweek 29.

Dean Smith has made three changes to the Aston Villa side beaten by Southampton last weekend, with Orjan Nyland (£4.3m), Bjorn Engels (£4.4m) and Ahmed Elmohamady (£4.2m) recalled.

Man City XI: Bravo, Walker, Stones, Fernandinho, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, Gundogan, Foden, D Silva, Sterling, Aguero.

Aston Villa XI: Nyland, Guilbert, Engels, Mings, Targett, Nakamba, Elmohamady, Luiz, Grealish, El Ghazi, Samatta.

                I don't think we will get one now, the government are planning to ban big events to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus so I don't think an extra game next GW is likely to be sanctioned at the moment.

    had enough of moura and martial !!
    2FT exacted amount to bring back KDB and Saka (although i will wait until after the FA Cup Games) - cant see any of though rising or fall over next 2-3 days

          I started the weekend at around 15,500. I've been hovering between just above 10,000 to 15k something or other for the last, errm 6 weeks. Nice to break through. Now to continue to improve or at least stay under 10,000 for us.

              Other than a slew of public leagues, I'm only in two private leagues; one is with just two friends for 35 pounds each haha and another with 65 managers but no money, ugh! I'm crushing the fun money league and leading the group of 65 by 53 points.

                Very competitive. Many managers with great records in there. In the past I've been in a fun mini league with my friends for some money. This year not the case because it always ends up in them quitting the game half way trough the season and then they won't pay anything lol

                        In my country there is a football related forum and there is a place for fantasy games and there is a topic for this game specifically. A known and trusted member is the admin of this league but I don't know him personally. There are also couple other leagues there but 100€ is enough for me.

                        I love the challenge of this game. I only started watching football five years ago when I was invited to join Sun Dream League. It's been a blast learning about the game of football but really fun to beat guys who were practically born with footballs. LOL

        Had a 2 month break last season, February to April, and it was good, returning for the last 5-6 gwks.
        The problem is I try & plan as well as I can, based on logic, but I just can't catch a break.
        But every season "it's the hope that kills it for me".
        Most rivals get random luck after meh planning.
        Can't play like that.
