Scoutcast tackles De Bruyne conundrum as Chelsea find form

The Scoutcast is back to discuss all of the key talking points ahead of Gameweek 30.

You can watch the show on our YouTube channel between 20:00 GMT and 21:00 GMT.

Firstly, we’ll discuss what to do with Kevin De Bruyne (£10.6m), who missed Sunday’s Manchester derby and is still a doubt for Arsenal’s trip to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Then, Chelsea are the team to go under the microscope as they build some good form ahead of some favourable fixtures.

Finally, we continue to work on our advanced planning for Blank Gameweek 31 now that we have a greater idea about the fixtures and which players we may want – or not!

We will also consider the potential effect of Coronavirus on the Premier League, and, therefore, our Fantasy teams.

    Its gonna be alright. A few games maybe postponed and some played behind closed doors if needed but we will have the season end with Champions, teams in Europe, relegation and promotion and FpL winners and losers.

    So, let's treat GW30 as a mini-blank, because Arsenal will not be able to play, at least as it stands they will be unlikely to field anything other than some U18/U23 mash of players who somehow have had zero contact with the big boys in the last several days.

    Such a conundrum for those who spent big to bring in 2-3 Gunners. Means a break too for BHA, who had proven that much more steady than normal in recent weeks. For me, that means Martinelli out (really do not understand his being dropped, something must have happened on the training ground), Jota in.

    I'm finally back into the Top 250K, gained about 30 on the Top 10K. Going to be an interesting run-in...

        That's not how self-isolating works. The NHS guidelines state:

        If you have been told to self-isolate, you need to stay indoors and avoid contact with other people for 14 days.

        You don't get to bunk off a game for a few days and then rock up for some relegation fodder. That's not "sure I was grand 10 days, I'll stay home for 4"...

    This is what I see happening....

    GW30 will run as planned
    Depending on number of cases in UK, games could be behind closed doors in 31 and 32.
    Liverpool will mathematically win the league by then
    GW 33 or 34 will see the league postponed or cancelled
    In a best case scenario, they are able to complete the league behind closed doors. In that case avoid all teams apart from Champions League chasers and Relegation battlers. Other teams just won’t be arsed

    Any idea when the FPL will be fully updated. Will the updates be scheduled starting at 10pm tonight as it would be if the Man C v Arsenal was on?

    I had a 100 point lead in my ML and the guy has used all his chips to claw it back to just under 20 points, I have all of my chips left, I might need to start using a chip a week to make sure I win it before the season is cancelled...

      if cancelled I think some sort of compensation for those with chips left, maybe work out the average points of each chip played, which probably wouldn't be very high!
