Pep Guardiola has rung the changes for the final match of Double Gameweek 30+, which kicks off at the Etihad at 20:00 BST.

Burnley are the visitors to Eastlands, where Manchester City defeated Arsenal five days ago.

There are only three surviving members of Guardiola’s starting XI from that 3-0 win over the Gunners, with Ederson (£6.0m), David Silva (£7.3m) and Riyad Mahrez (£8.5m) keeping their places.

That means that Kevin De Bruyne (£10.6m) and Raheem Sterling (£11.7m) are both rotated out of the side, with the two premium Fantasy Premier League midfielders only among the substitutes.

Sergio Aguero (£11.8m) gets his chance up front, meanwhile, with Gabriel Jesus (£9.6m) making way.

Aymeric Laporte (£6.3m), Kyle Walker (£5.6m), Benjamin Mendy (£5.5m), Ilkay Gundogan (£5.2m) and Eric Garcia (£4.5m) are the other City starters from midweek who drop out of the City line-up, with all bar the concussed Garcia on the bench.

Guardiola has changed his entire back four, with Joao Cancelo (£5.1m), Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.2m), Fernandinho (£5.1m) and Nicolas Otamendi (£4.9m) tasked with keeping Burnley at bay.

Phil Foden (£5.1m), Bernardo Silva (£7.7m) and Rodri (£5.5m) are also recalled further forward.

Sean Dyche’s side are missing the sidelined Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes (both £6.1m), so Matej Vydra (£5.3m) and Jay Rodriguez (£5.7m) are paired together in attack for the visitors.

Josh Brownhill (£4.8m) makes his first Premier League start, while Matthew Lowton (£4.2m) returns from an enforced lay-off at right-back.

Not only are Burnley hit by injury, they are also without four players whose contracts are due to expire at the end of the month: Joe Hart (£4.2m), Jeff Hendrick (£5.4m), Aaron Lennon (£4.6m) and Phil Bardsley (£4.3m) are not even among the substitutes as doubts linger over their futures.

Four academy products make it onto Dyche’s under-strength bench as a result, with two goalkeepers among the seven substitutes that the Burnley boss has named.

De Bruyne is the most-captained player of Double Gameweek 30+ both overall and within the top 10k.

Over half of the managers inside the top 10,000 handed the armband to the Belgian.

Aguero was captained by 26.74% of those elite managers, meanwhile.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Cancelo, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, D Silva, Foden, Bernardo, Mahrez, Aguero.

Burnley XI: Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Brownhill, Westwood, Cork, McNeil, Rodriguez, Vydra.

I'm actually in disbelief. On Saturday I was sitting on 83pts with 9 to play including captain. How on earth have I finished with a final score of 92pts? Unreal.

Top 10k average is 93. Overall average is 63

118 is fantastic - just because a few people got higher scores and post them to brag doesn’t make 118 not brilliant

I once got 106 in gw 1 without a chip. Came on here not to gloat but everyone who posted had a higher score than me. I was like oh well not that great then. Ended up rank 2000 and everyone I checked in front of me had used a chip. That's when I realised that the stuff you read on here is bonkers. Point is, you've done well. Enjoy it.

114 but got every ‘decision’ wrong

    - Aguero (c) over KDB (c) = -7 points
    - Aarons over Targett = -6 points
    - Duda over Saka = -6 points

I take full responsibility for the captaincy pick - the other two are just stupid mistakes and trying to be too clever. Aarons?! What was I thinking....

    1. Greek Freak
      • 10 Years
      6 years, 1 month ago

It's hardly a disaster - I lost more points by benching Lundstram one week!

Pretty happy about the Aguero (C) given what could've been had KDB hauled. Again, I've lost way more than that picking the wrong captain on other weeks!

      1. TheDragon
        • 8 Years
        6 years, 1 month ago

Ye absolutely zero regrets over Aguero captain. It’s clear to see how big the potential upside was.

Easy to say in hindsight but my other 2 decisions were terrible - partly down to reading too many opinions on here. Live and learn

        1. Greek Freak
          • 10 Years
          6 years, 1 month ago

True, Saka was my first option for that last mid spot too, until I tried to be clever by checking the line-up leaks and switched him to McGinn. Still, McGinn did get 5 points so it's not like Saka destroyed him.

Also annoyed that my initial pick was KDB, Sterling and Ederson but then went with Aguero and no City defence. Had I done the first I would've also captained KDB so that's a bit of a swing...

Having said all that, had I got Ederson then I wouldn't have Henderson in goal, and would've gone with Egan on defence!

I'm sure you were riveted by this story but swings and roundabouts...

Thoughts on this? Forgot to press the bench boost this week so looking to do 31+ then rebuild:

    Pope/Martinez
    TAA/Doherty/Lascelles/Taylor/Holgate
    KDB/Fernandes/Mane/Richarlison/Saint-Maximin
    Jiminez/Rashford/Nketiah

    2 questions only:
    For the next 2 gws:
1)who scores more:Son or KDB (or Martial)
2)who to replace Leno: DDG, Pope, Foster or Dubravka

Oh yes, now that I see there's no Jimenez, I would go for him instead of DCL. I think DCL has bigger upside in the next GW alone (Jimenez hardly ever hauls anyway), but especially if you take a hit you want to set up your team for more than 1 GW.
