It’s back! Fantasy Premier League has relaunched for 2020/21 and, as usual, we’ll have everything you need to set you up for the new campaign.

All of our pre-season content will be collated on THIS PAGE, which will be regularly refreshed between now and Gameweek 1.

It is where you can find our price-by-price, position-by-position rundown of pretty much every asset in FPL.

There’ll also be analysis of all 20 teams, Scout Reports on new signings and Moving Target articles on those switching allegiance.

Any information we learn about the various pre-season fixtures, from line-ups, goals and assists to the wider Fantasy talking points, will also be documented here.

As the transfer window develops, you can track all the ins and outs of FPL assets throughout the summer.

A lot of our content is free but, to gain access to every single article we publish and benefit from all the tools and stats on offer in our Members Area, subscribe from as little as £1.46 a month by clicking below.

    (Repost due to error)

    McCarthy Pope

    TAA Dalls Braithwaite Shaw Tierney
    Salah Soucek ______ Ziyech Auba
    Davies Jimmy Mitrovic

It’s a team based on both logic and emotion, here is my reasoning:

    • Players picked on points per game history, value to club , and performance in the championship

    • Lack of United & City Due to potential to go far in Europe , and be given a break by PL

    • Position switch of players forcing search for players coming up from lower leagues, (not a bad thing considering league quality last year)

    • If United and City get knocked out early this team will change , otherwise can’t see much changes

    Good luck guys !

I have 7.5 left in Midfield , but I’m also worried about Wolves getting a blank so tempted to do a switcheroo with Jimmy to Werner and bringing in ASM but depends on early fixtures

Unless the GW1 fixture is purposely set to Manchester United vs Manchester City to minimise issues.
No point in worrying about this until the fixtures are released

Anyone else surprised Martial is 0.5 cheaper than Werner? Both are actually good prices, but would've expected Martial to be the slightly more expensive one.

I'm not. Werner will be playing for a nailed on top four team, Martial for one hoping to finish above Wolves, failing that Everton.

"Why is Chelsea nailed on top four? Because of Ziyech and Werner lol Utd destroyed them this season"

          This season hasn't started yet.

Definitely - Chelsea's track record with strikers is... shall we say "questionable", whereas Martial has basically been Thierry Henry reincarnated since the turn of the year

Werner should be class - but prior to last season he was no stranger to goal droughts either, the four seasons prior to that were reasonable/not much to write home about

New league, new language, new teamates - no guarantees - but an exciting prospect nonetheless

      1. Greek Freak

I agree, Werner is exciting and I'm actually 50/50 between him and Martial over that premium-ish forward spot. Just that for the reasons you mentioned I can't see why he's the more expensive one.

I'm still gona give him a week or 2 if utd starts with a blank. but I think you're right, martial is more promising and a good choice from utd regarding bruno's price rise.

Leicester been crying for a real winger, none of this Demarai Gray and Ayoze Perez bollocks. Think he'll start from the get go.

          Harvey Barnes
          Demarai Gray
          Ayoze Perez
          Mark Albrighton

Add McNeil to that. Also he's lose set plays to Madison for sure which would diminish his points range

          1. Differential C (Mark)
            • 10 Years
            5 years, 8 months ago

Albrighton getting old. Gray is not PL level. Perez too inconsistent. Only Barnes the quality one out of the lot.
Agree on the set plays, but wasnt picking McNeil based on set pieces either way.

I think McNeil and Albrighton will cover the LW, while Perez and Barnes compete on the RW. Suits the way their team is balanced with their fullbacks and CMs.

If McNeil can cement a place over Albrighton, as he should imo, he could be an option...

    2. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus

      5 years, 8 months ago

Pretty much yeah - It feels a shame not to pick the likes of Doherty, Laporte & VVD for just 18.5m between them you're getting 175-pointers

Then again, it also feels a shame not to pick the likes of Charlie Taylor, Vinagre (with Jonny's injury), and that 4.0 lad who'll probably start while PVA's shoulder gets put back together - those guys will probably deliver at a 130-140 rate - maybe around 120 points less overall for about 5.0-5.5 less budget

Can that 5.0 pushed further up the pitch get you more than the ~120-ish points further back? Possibly... but that's all looking at things over a season whereas we really need to see fixtures

They've done it up well with the prices, I must say - but sticking with big defenders would (theoretically at least) keep a lid of Free Transfer usage, or allow more FT focus further up the pitch

          Yep

But he didn’t fill the Dilva slot in CL. Pep can use him as he used Bilva rotating from RW to False 9 to inside forward to make his attack work as he wants it to work that week. He may have a settled role and he may be semi-nailed but...

Foden and Greenwood could be game-changers long-term.

That might be the worst pricing out of all players this season.

RyanButton is boring but looks to be a good option this season.

              Yep
Hard to find 0.5 at the start though 😀

Also feel Brighton after a season under potter can tighten up (useless hope)

Impossible to say without fixtures but I like Antonio the best I think.

Why didn't Mitrovic start the playoff final?

He was just back from injury so wasn’t fit enough the play the whole game.

First draft squad - Foden and Greenwood can easily be replaced for first couple of weeks as required- look OK ?

        Ryan McCarthy
        TAA Tierney Burn Vinagre Taylor
        Salah Aubameyang Greenwood Foden Gordon
        Werner Antonio Adams

Now FPL has power should they enforce 4-4-2 on all the premierleague teams?

Palace Leeds would do well getting one good striker. And you want them to play 2 😛

Roberts can play upfront but yes we are crying for a striker. Bamford is the most nailed on player currently

If Saliba starts in the community shield, will you have him?

Seems ridiculously low at 4.5 imo...
