There are a lot of Fantasy games out there at present but how many will let you enter a team for free and still offer a substantial weekly cash prize?

Fantasy5 does just that.

The easy-to-play Fantasy game uses a familiar, FPL-style scoring system and comes with the incentive of a whopping £10,000 prize every week.

Best of all, it won’t cost you a penny to get involved.

How to Play

The rules are simple: enter a team by picking one player from each of the five nominated fixtures each Gameweek and, if they all exceed their ‘points target’ for that match, you’ll be taking home all – or at the very least a share – of the money.

There is no budget in Fantasy5 – if you wanted a team packed full of the big names, then you’re free to do so.

Naturally, the so-called “better” players will have a higher points target and Fantasy5‘s projections are a good indicator as to who is expected to perform well on any given matchday.

For example, this weekend, Kevin De Bruyne will have to score in excess of 12.5 points in Manchester City’s clash with Leicester City if the Belgian is to help you on the way to the jackpot.

James Rodriguez will only have to better his points target of 8.5 against Crystal Palace, meanwhile, and a clean sheet should see Ben White over his more modest projection of 5.5 against Manchester United.

Fantasy5 are the fastest media outlet for live Fantasy points, displaying all player points from the five games in question as well as the live score and time – as shown in the above image.

The competition is limited to one entry per person per round and selections must be submitted before kick-off of the first eligible match.

If two or more entrants correctly select five players who all score more than their points target, then the prize pot is split among all winners.

For a full list of the terms and conditions, click here.

Scoring System

If you know anything about Fantasy Premier League, the Fantasy5 scoring system is easy.

Quite simply, it’s FPL without the bonus points.

For newcomers, players gain – and lose – points in Fantasy5 through the following outcomes:

ActionPoints scored
Playing up to 60 minutes1
Playing more than 60 minutes2
Each goal scored by a goalkeeper/defender6
Each goal scored by a midfielder5
Each goal scored by a forward4
Each assist3
Clean sheet by a goalkeeper/defender (must play 60+ mins)4
Clean sheet by a midfielder (must play 60+ mins)1
Every three shots saved by a goalkeeper1
A penalty save by a goalkeeper5
Missing a penalty-2
Every two goals conceded by a goalkeeper/defender-1
Yellow card-1
Red card-3
Scoring an own-goal-2

Our very own Andy and Gianni have had a go at picking five players for this weekend’s round of Fantasy5 fixtures – you can see who they plumped for below:

    Further to my last post:

    Martinez
    5.5 / James / Saiss
    Podence / Salah / KDB / Foden
    Jimenez / Werner / Jesus

    Forster / Lamptey / Anguissa / 4.0

solid moves, covered the bases Salah&KDB, odds-wise that frontline could go big this week
also good for medium term for fixtures

I will Call This the MIDAMFIELDERS

What do you think on my WC

    Mendy - Steer
Semedo- Justin - Lamptey ( Mitchel - Taylor)
    Havertz - KDB - Son - Mane - Hames
    DCL-Jiminez (Brewster)

    Nothing left in Bank

1.9itb. Best move for -4? Might not get 11 out if ASM is injured.

    A. Egan >> Saiss / James / Digne
    B. ASM >> Zaha / Podence

    McCarthy
    TAA, Egan**, Davies, Mitchell
    Salah, KDB, Rodríguez, ASM*
    Werner, Ings
    (Nyland, Justin, Bissouma**, Davis)

Was trying to hold off. See what else happens in the market. See what happens to Man U. See how Chelsea get on. I agree it’s not ideal though. A lot on here advised to save the WC also

Almost finished my wildcard but it all comes down to TAA or Son, who is more essential? I don’t have enough money for another Liverpool defender if I go for Son, too risky to go without? I could always look to bring in TAA at a later date

Son isnt essential. He went mental one week because Saints were shockingly naive.

Over the course of the season Trent will outscore him almost certainly

I disagree. If Son plays a full season, his PPG is enough for 200+ points. He's never gotten more than 2500 minutes. He's also a streaky player. When he's hot, he'll get like double digits 3 weeks in a row.

I reckon he'll easily outscore TAA over the next like 6 weeks while his fixtures are hot after which you can switch it around.

He's never gotten more than 2500 minutes because he is a dirty player who gets sent off more regularly than the average player.

Plus gets a lot of injuries as spurs lack the depth needed to not be playing him in every game. Same with Kane

He will probably play again tonight by the way

He is a rotation risk but not nearly as much as people think.

Over the last 6 games of last season he averaged 57 minutes per game which is decent

He also got 90 the other day and with David Silva leaving plus issues with Bernardo Silva and Mahrez he is even more nailed than he was back then.

Even the benchings dont really matter when he is only 6.5

Its a different story when talking about Sterling or Mahrez, as they cost so much more so you should expect more of them

      1. Glad He Ate Her
        • 6 Years

Benching does matter a bit if Foden is your 4th mid, and you are playing a 433.

It doesnt though because having a 6.5 starting mid allows funds to be put elsewhere into bigger premiums.

Barely a noticeable difference between a player who gets a 1 pointer from a benching or who plays 90 minutes every week but is more likely to blank than Foden would be if he does start

      1)

Hamez isnt a good enough pick to warrant those two other downgrades

Best option in triple City attack

    KDB Foden and?

    A Sterling
    B Jesus

A is always the better option but depends how much going B helps improve rest of team?

It really would not make a difference as need Sterling price point to keep slot for Salah so would probably be between these options and A is better

        A Sterling/Salah Werner or
        B Salah Jesus

B and use the 2m elsewhere. You have KDB as your city captain

    Hi all. Tough choice:

    A. Hamez and Digne
    B. Jesus and R James

Yes I know that it is a MID compared to Striker but any replies will be helpful. Cheers!
