A Fantasy Premier League veteran of 11 years, Darren Wiles has an incredible track record with three top 1k finishes in the last four seasons.

With so many favourable match-ups in Gameweek 3, I am feeling confident about the next round of Fantasy Premier League.

It has been a positive start thus far, anyway, with 80 and 90-point hauls in the first two Gameweeks taking me to a total of 170 and an overall rank of 29k.

The goals have been flying in so far and I have been lucky enough to capitalise on the early glut of double-digit returns. But all of that is in the past, and it’s what happens this weekend that matters now.

Here is what my team looks like for Gameweek 3 and the reasons behind some key decisions.

Sounds like Jesus is out for a month so he hit may be worthwhile. Could easily make it back this week

Bricking it with Robbo over Trent in my latest WC draft.

I just like the extra 0.5 (1.0 total) it gives me ITB for some flexibility...

Can't see much difference between them now that Robbo has share of set piece duties

On WC I have 1.1 ITB to add flexibility to my team but should I do podende to Foden?

    Martinez Forster

    Final 3 slots on WC

    Martinez or guaita
    VVD or TAA or Robbo
    Zaha or foden or Hamez

    leaning towards Guaita+Robbo+Foden
Have 18.8 available for the 3 spots

    (Already have Kdb & DCL)

Thing with Martinez is you'll pretty much relying on save points, guiata gets the save points & the odd CS too
Robbo has been much better than TAA though stats wise

Martinez is a clear set and forget keeper at 4.5m. Look at Mat Ryan and the points he gets a season always at 4.5m. Can see Martinez doing something similar. Hes a good goalkeeper, Villa have tightened up defensively, and the fixtures are not horrible.

No but Emi is highly rated will be forced to make more saves and will probably get us another 6-9pts this season by his keeping alone so he's a no brainer at 4.5m

    TAA Doherty KWP
    Greenwood KdB Podence Salah
    Adams Mitrovic Kane
    Bench: Lascelles Bissouma Ferguson
    0.9 ITB

    Have a few questions.

    1. Worth making any changes for a hit? Would like to get Everton &/or Chelsea players in.

    2. Play which keeper?
    A. McCarthy - Easier fixture but double up in defense with KWP?
    B. Ryan - Avoid Soton double up and Brighton have decent record vs United + Save points potential

Costa struggles to play games at all at this stage

He’s 30 now, last season was terrible, managed only 7 starts & less than 800 minutes in Serie A

Season before was even worse with only 600 minutes - Season before that was his best, but he still only made 18 starts & was used from the bench a lot

Wonder whether Nuno would want a more physically robust type for his style of play

Been playing this game for years and yet have never thought about this. What happens if a player you own gets transferred to another league? Are they just greyed out or do they keep their previous team (and still count as 1 of the three you can own).

Keep their team and get red flagged I'm pretty sure

    Which is the better combo?

    Sterling + Hamez
    Salah + Zaha/Barnes

Thanks.. Have KDB, Foden, DCL if that helps.

I’d say Salah and Zaha would suit that team you have.

I’ve gone for a pairing of Ward and Ferguson(non W/C), which covers me for Palaces great fixture run they have soon...

    Last two decisions for me..

    1: Barnes or Zaha
2: KdB or Sterling. Was set on Sterling before the Wolves game. How did Sterling perform as a steiker in the past?

Is TAA + Robbo enough to offset not having Salah?

I don't know about offset, but they are likely the ones providing assists. They should both score around 200 points.
