Fantasy Premier League managers face a difficult choice for the Blank Gameweek 18 captaincy.

Even before Monday’s fixture rearrangements for Spurs, Fulham and Aston Villa, differentiating between Kevin De Bruyne (£11.7m) and Bruno Fernandes (£11.3m) was proving challenging for many.

Now that Harry Kane (£11.0m) and Son Heung-min (£9.8m) have been handed a favourable home fixture against underprepared opposition the debate has been thrown wide open.

More than ever, Fantasy managers need some help with the armband, which is where the Captain Sensible article comes in.

      Not a fan of it myself. When using chips I prefer to pick a solid 11 rather than try to find funky differentials or play a weird formation. The chip usage and a strong team is itself a differential and a strong one at that.

    What's your favourite strategy?

    A) WC18, BB19, save FH for 29
    B) FH18, no chip 19 (lots of DGW-ers), BB later
    C) FH18, WC19, save BB for later

    I've omitted B with BB in 19 as probably not relevant to me now, but I'd rate that best if you still have DGW-ers on your bench.

      I think if you’re going to leave Gundogan on the bench there’s no point having him - if he won’t start I’d swap him for a cheapo and upgrade Yedlin to Stones (and start him).

    Free hit more or less sorted, think the only things I’m slightly unsure of is Rashford with Son waiting in the wings, and whether having Wilson 1st sub is a bit of a waste of money. I have £0.1m to play with so could switch Rash, but feel like Fulham have tightened up and Spurs aren’t so high scoring, whereas Utd look quite threatening at the mo and like a couple of differentials in him and Laca. Wilson’s there to help a niggling concern that someone might be lost to rotation so I like a bit of comfort there.

        Probably not much in it given how hopeless Sheff Utd are but I’d rather target the better, in form teams on a free hit. Darlow’s kept 3 CS in 17 games, DDG 4 in 15.
