Just when Fantasy Premier League managers thought they could breathe and relax after Double Gameweek 19, many of us now have injury problems to solve.

Ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) has been ruled out for “four to six weeks” with a muscular injury and needs replacing.

When these sorts of developments occur, there is a fantastic opportunity for Fantasy managers. With everyone going in a different direction from a common player all at once, the potential for green arrows goes up – if you can make the right choice. And, because Gameweeks 20 to 23 take place in a span of 14 days, the FPL landscape is going to change very quickly.

Accordingly, I have gone over some De Bruyne replacements to help you make the right choice ahead of Gameweek 20. As this uses extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

Benching KDB for one week while I take a watching brief (on who to switch KDB to) and focusing on getting Cancelo. Leaves me with 4 starting spots and 2 to bench from Leeds/West Ham

Which 2 to play from the list below? (already playing Bamford and Antonio).
    A. Coufal
    B. Soucek
    C. Dallas
    D. Rodrigo

He needs to play to build up confidence after that game against Liverpool.

And he needs to bring points for my team.

Source about Rashford is twitter that he had just a bruised knee,

Still don't have a clue what to do.

    The team:

    Cancelo Stones Maquire
    KDB Rashford Salah Bruno Soucek
    Bamford Antonio

    bench: Dallas, Mitchel, McGoldrick

    2.5m itb.

Gundo? Son? Both? Stay put? What to do?

KDB and Rashford are potentially on the chopping block. Both this GW or 1 by one.

Any bright ideas and sound advise?

      Kdb to son most sensible.
Kdb to gundo best linty option.

Play rashy. He’s played in every United game so far this season so could come off bench. Otherwise Dallas solid cover.

      1. FPL Daniel
        • 17 Years

He (rashford) came from the bench last time. I prefer Gundo for a hit instead of him to be honest.

Would keep Rashford unless confirmed out. If he plays vs. SHU, even as a cameo, could get points.

      I did KDB > Gundogan.

You might as well hold on the Son move as if Rashfors is out, and you don't want to keep him, easy swap.

Money ITB for a Leicester MID vs. Leeds, or maybe upgrade McGoldrick to a premium forward.

If you want to do the Son move for Soucek too this week, for a hit, feel free. Up to you.

      1. FPL Daniel
        • 17 Years

I am considering KDB to Son

        Next week Rashford to Gundo

        Alternative is both now.

Also Dias instead of Gundo and get Barnes in midfield.

Also getting Kane if I get Gundo is an option.

So many routes practically imposible to make a call and be sure about it .

No, I'd just play Soucek despite his dip in attacking stats possibly due to formation change rather than coincidence of Antonio returning. Palace have been poor at set pieces and we know that's how Soucek likes to get his goals...

You can bring Stones in next week for free

I'd do it next gw. If you have more problems in your team (kdb, vardy, rash...), then I'd do it now, becuase of 3 great fixtures and it's a good long term transfer

Hey guys. Would really appreciate any help on this. Feel like I’m the only player in the game with no city defence and eager to address it looking at their next three. Which of these looks best.

    A. Robbo to Cancelo -4
    B. Ferguson to Stones -4 (drop Soucek to bench
    C. Both for a -8

I’ve seen enough of Cancelo to know there’s a massive haul on the way. Thoughts?

      1. Vlekz
        5 years, 5 months ago

      2. In Bale We Trust

Kane in is booked for next week I’m afraid. I would usually never get a defender in for a hit which is why I have no city defence. Just not had the opportunity. Thanks for feedback, I agree it’s hard to justify. Cancelo potential to haul big being used as a reason in my head to justify it

        1. Vlekz
          5 years, 5 months ago

Then I would go for B. It could mean you lose a point or 2 this week(incase soucek gets 3 and stones get 6), but it will done then

Dean Smith clears Jack Grealish. "He didn't look fatigued but the last couple of days he's had a tight hamstring. When you feel the game is done you can take a player like Jack off. He is fine. He is available for selection (vs Burnley)."

    Current team:

    Martinez (MacCarthy)
Dias / Dallas / Cancelo (Robbo / Justin)
Bruno / Gund / Salah / Soucek (McTominay)
    Antonio / Bamford / Watkins

    Thinking long term

    1. Dallas - Shaw
    2. McTominay to Maddison/Grealish

-4 for this week or leave til next

Thinking 2, Maddison and playing home this week for Watkins?

G2G? (-8) sadly, due to owning KDB and Vardy...

    Martinez
    Stones, Cancelo, Justin, Coufal
Salah, Bruno (C), Son (V), ESR
    Kane, Bamford

    McC; Soucek, Ayling, Brewster

Cash ITB to afford Soucek > Grealish next week, or maybe upgrade him and Brewster for -4 and have a fully playing squad.

Ok to do TAA & Soucek to Cancelo & Gund for a minus -4

Probably just TAA to Cancelo for free

Not heard anyone mention Bamford- I feel like he's being overlooked as a differential captain option when others are fancying the likes of Sterling or even Cancelo (myself included) for differentials

He hasn't had the best form of late, but Newcastle are so bad defensively that this is the perfect fixture for him to bounce back. In the reverse fixture Leeds also won 5-2

Also with Saint Max and Fraser back in the team, I can see this being end-to-end as Bruce will surely feel like he needs to change their current form around somehow.

I think owning is enough this week.

Be prepared for a massive red arrow if you don't captain Bruno and he hauls.

Depends if you are chasing a big deficit or not but I wouldn't overthink it - plenty of choice to go a bit differential in 21

That's what I'm preparing myself for- expecting EO to be very high for Bruno this week

It's going to be a very very big gamble on going for anybody outside of him which somehow makes it more attractive to me sitting in 500k (normally I'm in the top 50k by the half way mark, and have never finished outside the top 100k, but this isn't a normal season). Therefore my gut tells me that I need to take this big risk
