It is back to basics for Fantasy Premier League managers in Gameweek 28 as we face the first round without Doubles since Gameweek 23.

However, it must be said that the captaincy conversation has been thrown wide open by this week’s fixtures.

Manchester City face a Fulham defence that has improved in recent months, Liverpool are out of form, Manchester United face a West Ham side gunning for Europe while Spurs prepare for a north London derby.

CAPTAIN POLL

Harry Kane (£11.3m, 26.5% of votes) and Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m, 24.2%) are the leaders in this week’s poll, combining for over 50.0% of our users’ votes.

Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m, 8.5%) has been voted third this week, although with the Belgian international now having started in each of City’s previous five league games, this number could drop by Saturday morning due to rotation fears.

Ilkay Gungodan (£6.2m, 4.9%) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m, 4.2%) close out the top five.

    Need to sort out my GK until GW31 wildcard. Currently have Johnstone this week. Should I bring in:
    1. Martinez - better game this week and 30
    2. Sanchez - better game than Martinez in 29

    Have Konsa so would be doubling up Villa.

    Im thinking of doing. Salah and gundo out for bale and son.
    This is my team pre transfers:
    Mendy, martinez
    Target, cancelo, dias, dallas, tierney
    Salah, gundo, bruno, raphinha, lingard
    Werner, bamford, kane

    Currently only 7 players for next gameweek. So im trying hard to get to 9. Those two transfers will he for -4. Am i crazy? Im losing confidence in gundo with tougher fixtures and him playing deeper recently

      It’s a shame u can’t do Struijk to veltman...potentially I would switch one of the city defenders to a GW29 player since that will prob be your move for that gw anyway- perhaps for veltman...Struijk might be back for 29 and you would have an extra player without the need for a transfer

      A) I think your 3DFs will start & City likely to keep a CS v Fulham.

      Selling 1 City DF in 29 makes sense. Question marks on Burn definitely nailed it could be "frying pan to fire."

      Andy LTFPL has Burn & was discussing with Gianii I think, they mentioned he is a slight risk Andy is hoping he keeps his place for GW29. Veltman £4.3 if you can stretch is the popular nailed recommendation.

    Was about to get Kane in (Richarlison&Salah to Kane&Bale)
    Now Kane with knee problem, ok maybe small and no big deal but it might be enough doubt to rather do a defensive change, Mee to Veltman and roll other ft to make 2ft next week(or 1 hit). What do you think? Currently have only 6 players for GW29.

      I just did exact move and like you rolling free transfer. I believe that we need 2 ft as late as possible into game week 29 as we have no subs to bale us out of no shows.
