Fplsorcerer
Phil Gill, aka @FPLSorcerer, is an incredibly successful Fantasy Premier League (FPL) veteran who can boast of two top 1k finishes, six top 5k finishes and eight top 10k finishes.
Phil sits 85th in the Career Hall of Fame and has had a great start to the season, sitting at 13,185 overall with £1.0m in the bank and two free transfers going into Gameweek 3.
Here he discusses his team plans for the weekend and beyond.
Greenwood's starting place judt went up in flames with the return of Ronaldo.
Finally...
Yup. glad I didnt bring him in.
One more game before he’s out!
So annoying, my plan was always to ship to Raph after next week so just going to hope he plays…
Start
A. Duffy (EVE H)
B. Livramento (NEW A)
I don't trust Saints defense, so Duffy
The Duffman.
Yup. Duffy this week. Livramento may be a long term keeper though. Duffy is not,.
Cheers guys
b
GTG? Or maybe play Bisso instead of Livra?
Sanchez
TAA Shaw Coufal Livramneto
Salah Bruno Mahrez Maddison
Antonio(C) Ings
Steele Bisso Scarlett White
Coin flip.
Livra more upside, CS potential and even an attacking return if real lucky.
Agree, will play Livra like intended. Cheers.
Who to cap?
Antonio or Son???
Son
Ol man Ronnie won't match Salah and Kane imo
Burden of proof is on you to prove he can't
Burden of proof 😆 😆
have Salah and Kane matched CR7 past stats already?
Why is Livramento favoured over Duffy here?
More shelf life.
Better long term pick apparently
We do love us wingbacks
Where do people think Pogba will start with Ronaldo in the side?
Nothing changes. He'll be on the left some games and CM some games
Is Bertrand nailed on for Leicester when fit?
No
Thanks
No
GTG?
Sanchez
TAA, Shaw, Ayling, Amartey
Mahrez, Benrahma, Bruno, Salah
Ings, Antonio
Foster, Deeney, Brownhill, White
Start Tsimikas or Dallas ?
Sanchez
Shaw Dias Coufal Tsimikas
Salah Bruno Son
Antonio Ings Toney
Foster Dallas Bissouma White
Dallas.
Tsimi and Robertson look like they will be rotated.
Is Christensen likely to be a regular starter?
Should start 3/4 of games imo
Thanks mate
Reminder for myself : Just because he has joined the league doesn't mean other players will stop scoring points. Don't get overhyped!!!
Oh and I may finally be able to watch him play live for the first time 😆
You live in the UK?
Nah, India
Part of Ronnie’s contract I understand….no other players in the league allowed to score FPL points.
Thoughts on this bunch?
Another busy week so out of the loop.
Sanchez (Steele)
TAA, Shaw, Ayling (Veltman, Tsimikas)
Salah, Bruno, Greeny, Benrahma (Browny)
Ings, Ant, Toney
1 FT, 1m in bank
a) change a defender
b) change a forward
c) save
d) something else
Cheers
Save. Captain thoughts?
Only really have 2 choices unless I get Son/Kane.
Antonio could be a good shout this week for you. I've gone Son (C) and Antonio (VC) (have Bruno and Salah)
C
Get Ronaldo in. Apparently he is "super human." 🙂
Cheers all, seems like FPL has changed a bit this last week.
Might even WC in GW4 😕
I had pretty much identical team and was looking to save. Got too excited with Ronaldo coming in so I went Salah -> Son and I will WC for GW4.
Now trying to figure out whether to get DCL/Cresswell/Grealish in for a hit!
Crazy times.
G2G! Antonio captain from that lot
Should i do Ings to Antonio? Everyone below me has Anto.......... on mini league
Next week.
Signed back up to FFS and the bonus tools. I received a code but no instructions. What’s the process to activate it?
Not sure what code you are talking about?
Fantasy Football Scout Premier Fantasy Tools Code
Can you link the page it on?
When CR7 was tested in Juve, his fitness was said to be 20yr+
Most 20 year olds are lazy slobs though that can only run a few yards.. Hardly much of a comparison.
i dont think they compare it like that lol
CR7 vs Haaland would be a good comparison but Haaland has the genetics of a monster
CR7 returning is like Lebron James returning to Cleveland
Sanchez
Coufal Duffy Amartey Dier
Salah Bruno Son Grealish
Antonio(C) Toney
Foster Iheanacho Bissouma Tsimikas
G2G or sub someone out for Iheanacho? Cheers!
Start nachos
Who would you bench from my starting 11?
Amartey.
Lukuku v ronaldo v Kane from GW4?
Im looking at Antonio and DCL first. Much cheaper
Already got Antonio and thinking about ings to DCL. Tricky to fit in Kane, lukuku or ronaldo but love one !
I am working on a team with Salah, CR7 (assuming 12.5), Lukaku & TAA
Sanchez (Steele)
TAA Shaw Ayling White Livramento
Salah, Raph, Benny, Gray, Gilmore
CR7, Lukaku, A.Armstrong
0.3itb (with my current TV and team)
Great time
2FT. Jota --> Benrahma? Ings put next week.
Sounds decent this GW.
Ronaldo will take penalties from Bruno, right?
Surely
like Portugal National Team
doesnt Bruno take their penalties?
no, I guess not. Thanks google.
Buy Raphinha or save the 0.6m and get Harrison?
Thanks.
Raph
Raphinha even without looking at comparison tool.
Raph. Dude isn't even at his best yet. Brazil call-up boosts his confidence even more.
Bruno and Pogba gonna get like 400 assists with Ronaldo
possible, CR7 is a goal poacher
we need presence in the box and we have one now
Good to go here? Saving a transfer to get more info on Grealish and Barnes and Lukaku/Kane.
4m itb 1ft.
Guaita
Cresswell vc Reguilon Lowton
Salah Son C Grealish Barnes Raphinha
Antonio Ings
4.0 Fernandez Tsimikas Davis
Kane play org not???
I dont see why not
Citys attempted signing of a striker this window has been shambolic, and why has Pep said he is leaving lol. City morale gonna be at an all time low, no chance they win this season.
4th place finish
Pep joining Ronnie at Man Utd…
lol imagine
So low they'll lose to Arsenal?
They wont get that bad
Pep could play and they’d still beat Arsenal
honestly, he'd be better than any of their currently available left-backs
Well most of them are in prison, which doesn’t help….
Toney to DCL done. And now DCL maybe out! Great.......
What’s the general consensus on here about Ronnie’s price?
12.5
Cheer Catastrophe…and Fwd or Mid you reckon?
FWD!
Definitely a forward
12M FWD
This GW only:
A) Toney & Livramento
B) Toney & Cresswell (-4)
C) Grealish & Livramento (-4)
D) DCL & Livramento (-4)
E) Raphinha & Livramento (-4)
Cheers!
Salah out for -4 for Son? :p
Had 2 FTs used on Benrahma and Sanchez in.
Thx!
Free maybe (yes if WC next week). Don't fancy it for a hit.
Cheers - probably would WC next week for Ronnie :p
Toney > Ronnie (if 12.5 & Fwd) & Bruno > Harrison/other 6.0m mid seems like the most sensible move
keep Bruno
It’s him or Salah out and have Pogba…
