FPL team reveals: Who I’m replacing Kostas Tsimikas with for Gameweek 3

Five-time top 1k FPL finisher Tom Freeman on Calvert-Lewin, Wolves and his Gameweek 2 plans

Ahead of Gameweek 3, I have two free transfers and £0.5m in the bank.

The graphic below shows how I’m currently set up prior to making any transfers, and as you can see, I need to prioritise a defensive move to ensure I have four starters.

I’d also like to have two frees for the international break, so any further adjustments will have to wait.

So, onto my transfer then.

Only subscribers can read this article in full: Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2021/22 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £20.00 – but only for a little while longer.

We have given our users until the start of the September international break to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign but this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premium Memberships will rise to the regular season price on Sunday.

Good for football that Ronaldo is going back to United & not to City.

Do you remember this similar time last year when Bale was confirmed back to Spurs and then they went and destroyed Southampton away

Could we see a similar boost from United against Wolves from the sheer moral boost of a world class player joining them?

There are a lot of big golden boot contenders now this season with Lukaku, Salah, Kane and Ronaldo standing out and I'm sure there will be others that are in with a shout towards the end like Ings and Antonio (fitness pending). Ronaldo could benefit a lot from likely having a pretty free role up top with limited defensive responsibilities, Lukaku is a focal point for Chelsea going forward, Kane may be required to drop deep less than under Mourinho leaving him with more scope for goals than assists, and Salah is Salah. Funny thing is even though Ronaldo won't properly start until GW4/5 he might not even be far behind the other main contenders with Kane and Lukaku starting late too and Salah only scoring once so far (unless one of them has a big weekend).

What to do with Mahrez? Is he going to start? 1FT and no decent bench options.

Debated swapping for Grealish, pogba/greenwood, Raphina or even Traore to get more funds.

Who would you sell of Tsimikas or Bertrand and who would you replace him with?

    Sanchez Bachmann
    Coufal Tsimikas Shaw Bertrand Amatey
    Salah Son Greenwood Sarr Smith-Rowe
    Vardy, Ings, Antonio

    Cheers.

Thought worse at first, but with more quality up front it should see his assists go up. Someone else to aim for on free kicks and even during open play.

It's great! Thought Lukaku and Kane would break up the template a bit but this will just smash it, apart from GW4-7 probably where nearly everyone will get Ronaldo immediately and in what will become a template manner I'm guessing. But after that it's gonna be wild
