Andy North and Mark Sutherns are back after the internationals, with the latter breaking a recent hiatus from Blackbox to chat Fantasy Premier League (FPL) once again.

Mark is recording for our subscribers every Gameweek throughout the upcoming campaign, so sign up via this link in order to see his regular appearances.

With four new manager appointments, a clamour for Spurs attacking assets and the regular flirtation with an alternative to Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) as captain, there’s plenty for Andy and Mark to chew over.

And of course, they dip into their own teams to chat their current thinking ahead of Saturday’s much anticipated deadline.

Subscribers can view the embedded video below:

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      They're divided on this

Fwiw, Johnson is a young lad from their academy who could be in his breakout season

Feels a lot like TAA vs Gomez back then... But might turn out to be like Robbo vs Tsimikas instead

I'd take whoever starts this GW as the nailed one going forward, and expect some rotation over the fixture congestion, but the nailed one probably remains prominent

I'm happy to keep Gundo as I think I'll want to double up on City mids soon. I want a nailed striker as bench option going into the busy schedule, Pukki was the one that's landed there so will probably stay.

Broja might not start. And if he does, he needs a goal/assist for a low-scoring team to match Livra's CS for a great defence... And then Livra also scores and assists

Livra for me, by some distance

Selling Foden isn't worth it, with his fixture run continuing until 2nd wildcard territory

Buying Jota isn't worth it, with his conversion rate issues and lack of assists, then Firmino being a quick healer

      No.

    C. Vardy/Foden to Jota/Kane (-4)
    D. Saka to Jota

Here's my opinion on setting up a bench for the fixture congestion, especially for those on a WC:

I want and would advise a *playing* bench, not a heavy bench

With CR7 coming in soon, while monitoring Kane under Conte, there's a good chance I'd want a premium striker with Salah soon

This means funds would be needed from elsewhere, especially anybody who isn't in my starting XI

Here's the bench I have in mind:

    Foster • Livra/Johnson/4.4 D • 4.4 M • 4.4 M

This gives a playing sub who'll come in for any missing asset during the rotation-heavy period, and counts as a blank (2 or 3 points) for that my first XI player

Maybe it's just my luck, but I'm more likely to have Gallagher in my XI for his 2-pointers and on my bench for his 11-pointers, because good players don't always follow fixtures for their returns

With my 4-3-3 and a light but *playing* bench, I have no issues with rotation (4.4 M comes in with 2 points), and I can afford the best players possible in my XI. I can then focus transfers on improving my most likely scores for each GW, by changing first-team players

Wasting two midfield spots on 4.4m fodder, no thanks. Not interested in Kane or Ronaldo. I'm moving towards a formation of 4-5-1 in the near future.

I think that has been the right set up for the last few GW's but my feeling is that's going change and looking forward premium strikers will be important again

Okay... I've finally decided to go against all the advice I've received on here and transfer in DDG for Mendy as makeweight to get Son in...

Everything says DDG is a bad option... but my gut is telling me to go for it... or maybe it's the fact that in United's next 10 games they play 9 teams (out of 13 in total) who have scored 15 or less goals this season.
