As you will no doubt have heard by now, FanTeam have announced their free-to-play ‘Second Chance’ Premier League Fantasy game for the latter half of this season.

It starts from Gameweek 22 on January 14th, so if your chances of success are all but over in any of your season-long games, this is an opportunity to inject a bit of life into the second part of 2021/22.

So, how does it work?

We’ve covered the essentials in our beginner’s guide but for some expert strategy tips, we’ve enlisted the help of FanTeam expert and Pro Pundit Josh Wooldridge. He won £200,000 in the 2020/21 season-long game and continues to rake in the money this season, so he’s ideally placed to give us some advice.

Aha , Antonio here, I feel short changed now with West Ham scoring 3 and him only 5 points, if you’d told me Toney would get 5 points in this match I’d have snapped you hand off to be fair so cannot complain!!       I wouldn't bench Bowen for anybody atm. Dennis is a very good first sub here, imo

      I'd spend those funds on a Johnson replacement: maybe Guéhi or Tavares, or next GW for free if you have no other planned moves

          We might all live to regret the move to Ron due to fixture congestion. I have Broja as my cover for him but the cameos worry me. Biggest FPL decision this season IMO.

              I suppose it is all about Foden/Gundo/Bilva(2 of) and a Bowen instead of a 4.5 mid comparing to Ron and 2 enablers. No problems one game a week; but 2? Also Citeh will be rotated too. Good luck bud.

          Dennis or King scores the most points IMO mate, but you need to start them, I brought Broja in this week to facilitate Getting Bernardo in(unfortunately 3rd on my bench was Broja) now I won’t play him generally but will start him for those game at home against Brentford in a few week, the other two you can start every week IMO
