Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for 2022/23 are still available at last season’s cost of Â£24.99 â€“ but only until midnight tonight.

After the later-than-expected relaunch of Fantasy Premier League (FPL), we wanted to give everyone a bit of extra time to sort out their subscriptions for the new campaign.

But this really is last-chance saloon territory, as yearly Premium Memberships will rise on Friday.

So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate and lock in your price for future seasons.

Speaking of which, if you’re already a rolling subscriber, you’re locked into whatever discounted price you paid last year providing you don’t cancel – so you’re even more quids-in!

The yearly fee of £24.99 works out at an equivalent of Â£2.08 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

SIGN UP FOR THE NEW SEASON AND LOCK IN YOUR PRICE TODAY

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, from building a team of talented contributors for 2022/23 (see below) to our new-look Premium Members Area.

HOW CAN SCOUT MEMBERSHIP HELP MY FPL TEAM?

You’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former FPL winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of Fantasy bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

MEMBERS-ONLY ARTICLES AND ADVICE

You’ll get exclusive content, advice and team reveals from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including ex-champion Simon March, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser, seven-time top 10k finisher Zophar, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, Burning Questions co-hosts Pras and Sonaldo, and more.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns will be producing regular videos throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

We have regular Members-only articles, too, such as Captain Sensible, which provides in-depth analysis on the top contenders for the armband every Gameweek.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

FPL Rate My Team surgery with five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman 11

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools will both be live for the new season soon, allowing you to see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score and which players you should bench.

SEASON TICKER

Our Season Ticker can help you sort by opponent difficulty to spot those upcoming fixture swings, while you can also find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Wolves, for example, are top of our Season Ticker over the first six Gameweeks of 2022/23 – but there are some tough games ahead for Crystal Palace.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

PLAYER COMPARISON TOOL

Stuck between potential transfer targets for the upcoming Gameweek? You can now compare up to three players head-to-head at the same time, with over 100 key statistics and graphics to study side by side, while new visuals make for easier comparisons:

New-look beta Premium Members Area now available 1

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

From goal threat to expected data, there are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

Our ‘per 90′ tickbox allows you to sort players’ stats per 90 minutes, too, to level the playing field for those assets with differing amounts of game-time.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Want to know where it went right and wrong in previous Gameweeks?

We’ve got analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and a collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers to help with FPL team planning.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

GAMEWEEK DASHBOARD

Pre-season price offer extended for FFScout Premium Membership 11

Enter your FPL ID for personalised visuals and check your live rank as the Gameweek progresses.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool helps subscribers to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition for those close captaincy calls – and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raul Jimenez famously did in 2018/19.

PRE-SEASON MINUTES SPREADSHEET

You’ll be able to track the minutes played of every FPL asset in pre-season – crucial for that Gameweek 1 planning and to help unearth the next John Lundstram!

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the Premium Members’ Area, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

    Bamford or Jiminez?

Decent early fixtures and low ownership.

Bamford back after a long lay off. Jimenez not the same player anymore. I'd stay clear off both.

Given this choice, Jimenez, wastes less money.

Personally, I’m only seriously looking at three forwards over 6.5 (Toney Jesus Haaland Kane)

      Gordon could be good value.

It’s a shame Rondon isn’t available for the first 2 GWs as he’d be a decent bench option for £5.0m. Especially with DCL’s injury history.

Yesterday I set up a top 10K all time league as I don't think one exists at the moment?

You can check your all time rank here (you still need to use last seasons ID for now)

Is this an interesting variation of the template? I'll use Kane as an attacking captain in good fixtures then have Salah and Haaland as defensive options.
    Sanchez
    Justin Ait Nouri Perisic
    Neto Salah Diaz Saka
    Kane Haaland Mitrovic

Bench: Dennis (GK), Tomiyasu, Andreas, N. Williams

Interesting but Trent is better value than Díaz.

Maybe something like Justin/Saka/Mitrović to Trent/Martinelli/Undav? If Undav starts you’re set, if not you can sub Tomiyasu in

I don't disagree but the question is who do you think scores more in the 1st 6. I think gambling on Diaz earlier on my be better as he is less likely to be rotated (hopefully).

Hi all – how would you complete or improve this team?

    Raya // Balcombe
    Trent Cancelo ____ ____ // Tomiyasu
Salah Saka Coutinho Neto // Murphy
    Haaland ____ // Taylor

    A: Robertson, Chilwell, Undav
    B: Robertson, Jonny, Toney
    C: Chilwell, Jonny, Jesus
    D: something else?

I’m not wedded to Coutinho, Saka, Haaland or the base-level players but I seem to slot them into every draft I make

C is my current set up (in terms of price points at least...a different 4.5def and 8.0mid).

I am interested in Toney though - hopefully preseason they show a little something.

Evening folks... Prices that timid it's giving quite a few good combos!
Which 3 would you have here?
    A) Ramsdale, Chilwell, Raphina
    B) Mendy, Tomiyasu, Mahrez (other 8 mil)

    Rest of the team
    .....
    .... TAA, Tripper, Perisic, Cancelo
    .... Salah, Bruno G
    Jesus, Haaland

    4.0 Neto, Andreas, Greenwood

Thanks in advance and enjoy template faffing.

Raphinha is likely moving on – Coutinho is a good alternative at same price.

I prefer B because it leaves you more flexible to move between 8.0m mids (Maddison Kulu Mount Foden Saka Díaz Mahrez)

Really wanting to avoid threemium team but I keep finding myself trying to fit Salah kane and haaland in the same squad. Anyone else in the same boat? My worry is that with my current draft at 541 with 2 fodder forwards and 1 4.5 but likely to get game time mid puts me in a situation where if kane and haaland go mad first 2/3 I’m scrambling to get both in and have to rip up my squad. Even with a 8/7.5 second forward I still need to make 2 possibly 3 transfers to get the other premium forward. Interested to hear peoples thoughts I know it’s just FOMO but also think the 2 premium forwards together could be a differential in itself.

I think it very tricky to get a good overall balanced team going with the 3 premiums. I would advocate sacrificing one of them and spreading the funds, which one to go without is up to you. Yes it's tempting to have the 3 in case they hit the ground running but there are quality players in the 8m mid/Fwd bracket that can match the 12m+ players early on at least

yeah the best threemium for me have a weaker defense. which is a-ok with me.

      4.5, 4.0
      6.0, 5.0, 4.5, 4.5, (4.5)
      Salah, Son, 8.0, 5.5 (4.5)
      Haaland, Jesus (4.5)

the gap in interesting 6.0 > 7.5 mids makes me want am 8.0 instead

I completely understand why they priced Gelhardt at £5.5m now. He has looked unreal in this match (I know it’s only against Blackpool) with amazing footwork and close control. Has a goal disallowed for offside but it looked comfortably onside.

    Mendy
TAA Cancelo James Perisic
Salah Diaz Foden Neto Martinelli
Haaland

    4.5 4.0 4.5 4.5

Triple City
    Triple Liverpool
Double Chelsea
1 from Tottenham, Arsenal and Wolves

All got great first 7/8 fixtures pretty much before a WC

I’m sure a 4.0 mill defender which gets some minutes will emerge before GW1 such as N.Williams for the bench
I believe 1 bench option is enough with the new 5 sub rule less need for a bench I think cameos will happen more often even if they don’t start.

Another last chance! Just like the 'last' one :o)

Am I the only one yearning for when 3-4-3 was the winning formation? I know (in my head) that 5-4-1 or 4-5-1 is the new 3-4-3 in terms of FPL, but it is a little depressing, you know, a bit Big Sam?

Will start with a balanced squad this year (NoMo & SansSon), but also knw I'll be using my first WC around GW 3/4 and probably chasing all season... Us luddites never learn :o)

I'm still convinced by 3-4-3, but with trying to get some balance/back-up one of my front 3 is Solanke
(I know, there are other options).
      Might go 442 or 352

On this, feels right, but doubt it'll work:

        Mendy | {Fodder}
        Chilly | Cancelo | Robbo | {Tomi} | {N Williams}
        Madders | Diaz | Kulu | Wissa | {Murphy}
        Jesus | Nunez | Harlaand

Just can't see the value with Salah / Son...

        Like I said, WC GW 3/4 :o)

Probably wouldn't go NoMo with 2 WC, but 3 WC makes it less of a risk...

Remember the days when we had to do this all on our own, before the interweb / twitter?

Did we say 'template' back in 15/16? :o)

3-4-3 is what I’ve always used for the most part and what I’m used to so I know what you mean! I’m not a big fan of going with just 1 up top so that’s why for the moment I’ve settled with 4-4-2. It allows me to get an extra defender in there but without the feeling of overcommitting.

As for the NoMo… that’s too much of a risk for me!

Big Sam never had full backs crashing the box like in today’s game.
Watch any City or Liverpool game — at any given time in possession, they have at least 5 players on the forward line — only 1 of whom (and sometimes none!) is classified as a “forward” in FPL

Yeah only thing is mods and cons - in relation to article - is that I have contacted support and not got a response as to how to renew my membership at the discounted price. There is no intuitive way to do this. So when my membership expires in early August, I am expected to pay full whack! I get a message saying "You're already logged into the site so there's no need to register again."

Discounted price is only if you had auto-renew set (i.e. rolling DD), if you didn't, you need to pay the new (discounted, pay now!) price...

Did you have auto-renew set, i.e. you signed up for them to roll-over your premium membership and charge you come what may? If you did,it'lll happen, if not, you 'pay' the new price (that's to the best of my knowledge)...

Me, I've declined so far... Think I'm just gonna pick my (C) all on my own, just like I used to :o)

As I understand it you can update your subscription after your initial subscription ends by auto renewing with the price you initially paid. Or with any other price that's applicable when you re subscribe if you have no auto renewal..

I got my subscription last season with discount, but cancelled auto renew since thought I might have to pay full price automaticly. And so now can't get also this discounted price..... Lets see what prices they offer when the new season starts.

It maybe full price later on though, since there is a little chance they do another discounted price so soon, but you never know. 🙂

You're still a member, so if you email them to turn auto-renew on, you should be getting last season's price. It's not your fault they made it impossible to do it yourself. If you'd rather pay 36 quid, that's up to you 😀

Anything more than £17.5, and it's the end of the line for me.

Not 100% sure, I'm been stung by 'auto-renew', especially if paying by DC / CC, try cancelling them later!

So I know if there was an option, I wouldn't of ticked it (or would of unticked it if was there)...

Free stuff, chat down here, going with that this season... Don't want the pressure of following content, going with my gut... What's the point of template, massive slog for maybe 100K, rather just crash and burn :o)

Comparing Kane to Son over the last 19 GWs (once he was more settled under Conte) is quite interesting. Plus the added benefit of pens.

Think if I do go with a spurs attacker I'll be going Kane over Son

    1. IN SANE IN DE BRUYNE

Didn't Son outscore Kane by some marginal after Conte's arrival, or am I confused?

That would have been my take, son seemed unreal for the run in, not having him cost me pretty bad.

Not looked at any data tho, thats just what my gut says.

Not sure how much I can say since it's locked content for members. But basically over GW 20-38 Kane has better xGI (did play 2 more). Son had a higher differential which helped and the narrative of him going for golden boot (kane started poorly) from memory helped.

Not saying Son didn't perform well or is a bad pick. Just I think the numbers show Kane could outscore after a rest, full pre season and being remotivated from the off.

I don't think so, there's such good value in defenders that I think using a spot on him would be a waste. Much prefer spending the extra .5 on someone like Castagne or Tomiyasu

Guess i love a bargain, and if i have 3 or 4 other "good" defenders, not sure id ever start likes of castagne over him.

But I get your point, castagne could be great.

Depends how I end up structure wise. Tempted by a back 5 but likely go 4, downgrade Trippier to him and use the extra to boost the midfield. Was always gonna be one good 4m choice, always is.

Richarlison has never played RW. Conte got him because top teams need quality squad depth. He's more of a risk to Son and Kane in the easier games imo.

This, just, why? He played LW / CF for EVE for how long?

I think he's more in rotation with Son / Kane for front 3, with CL workload {so more rotation, he won't flog Son / Kane for 38 PL matches on the bounce}...

Kulu / Moura rotation on RW?

That's what top teams do. City has been doing it for years. He's not so much as backup as a quality rotation option for those 2 and maybe even sometimes Kulu. It won't just be Kulu who'll be rotated.

I would imagine spurs will lineup something like 424

      Kane Richarlison
      Son Kulu
      Bentacur Hojbjerg
      Perisic Romero Dier Doherty
      Lloris

Konte always plays with 5 in the back.....3 CB + 2 windbacks

You aren’t spending £60m to put him on the bench and Richarlison wasn’t going to spurs to play second fiddle to Kane. Conte would’ve seen that Richarlison can play up top alongside Kane like he did with DCL so Conte might drop the 5 at the back

How do people fancy my club Forest's chances of staying up this season?

Hard to say before all the transfers are done, but hope you stay up and we lose some of the stale deadwood.

Hello from just down the road over the border in Leicestershire, a Foxes fan. Not only do I hope that you'll stay up, I think that you will. Some really savvy signings and a good manager.

Having read the article on here about Steve Cooper the other day, I’ve got a weird feeling you guys will have a good season. It seems like you have a good combination of being defensively solid, along with being dangerous on the counter. Not to mention a manager that appears to be tactically astute. That’s a good recipe for survival if I’ve ever seen one.

Hey mate. Fellow Forest fan here. All I can say is: in Cooper we trust. Sure there will be ups and downs but looks like we’ve made some quality signings and we proved our ability to go toe to toe with PL opposition in the FA cup last season. COYR!
