The game was already done when he came on. I don't think Perisic will be a starter in the near future. Conte's plan clearly was to get some extra motivation for Sessegnon.

The game was over by the time he came on, so I think Spurs had shifted into a lower gear by then. He wasn't as active as the Roma outing, but he wasn't anonymous either.

Sessegnon played well enough, but he's just warming the spot while Perisic gains fitness. Perisic is a winner and he was brought in to win hardware. People who think he's part of a time share at LWB? They're underestimating his potential impact, not to mention Conte's understanding of his potential impact.
