Three-time top 200 finisher and two-time champion of India

I am looking to save a transfer this week, having removed funds from my defence in Gameweek 4 to allow the upgrade from Leon Bailey (£4.7m) to Marcus Rashford (£6.3m). As much as I want to punt on a Manchester City attacker, I don’t have a clear route right now. I’m eyeing up Darwin Nunez (£8.9m) once his suspension ends, which was another reason to take money out of defence.

      Not sure if those saying B are trolling.

      It's tight between Gross and Saliba, Saliba has the better fixtures, but I think Gross has the higher potential score, he is in the form of his life.

      Saliba has been given a very fortunate assist last week and the week before that scored a massively uncharacteristic goal.

      Arsenal look to miss Partey and Zinch again so could be a little weaker defensively.

      I would take some money out of defence and get Gundo, Rodrigo, Grob or whoever takes your fancy

        Yes, I think I'd have to downgrade a defender and upgrade Eze or Colback

        But it's hard to decide which defender should go, especially for a midfielder who I may get just as their good run dries up

      I'd start by putting Andreas first sub instead of Williams. Good chance of rests this GW so having your bench in order counts a lot. Plus James might not be playing do you're already eyeing up that first sub.

      Ward to Iversen and bank the 0.1 - boring yes - but look at it this way - rather than who do you want in this week, who do you want out of your team? I don't see anyone worth moving on in that starting 11.

        i dont see much logic behind benching him vs forest then playing him against villa which is a few days before their away game against sevilla.

        does it not make more sense to give him his rest in the lead up to the champions league game rather than a week before?

          IT depends what mintes, if he starts Vs Villa, a 75min run out is not a problem, but from Peps comments i take Haaland starts, maybe Even both.

          Depends on physicality, recovery and how Pep wants to bring rythm into the team. He often speaks of rythm, then IT would be more logic if Håland starts Vs Villa and gets 65-75. Might start both. WHO knows

      The one thing Everton are a bit better at this season is defense, though prone to the odd mistake still.
      5 goals in 4 isn't a team to target for captain imo

    Captain decision is the issue, Salah could give Matt Targett nightmares but it seems like everyone is going Haaland.... Gundo could be an option aswell

      Check the Effective Ownership in your mini-league for both Salah and Haaland over on LiveFPL and decide based on that - if you want to be safe go with the highest EO if you want to be risky, go with the lowest EO

      (note - sorry if this advertisement is not allowed, I also have not posted the link for the same reason, but FFS pedal LiveFPL a lot anyway so I am sure it is fine)

    Made my f/t Digne to James and then read James could be out.

    Not great but Digne to a plant pot would still have been a decent option. Just need to get rid of Bailey now.

      I have the same attack and similiar defense but my defense is Saliba James Perisic TAA with Dunk first on the bench. Walker bores me a bit for fantasy but thats just me.

      I would roll, Aaronson robbed of an assist on Saturday despite Brighton doing a great job on him all game and he was robbed of one vs Southampton the other week too, he will come good, Harrison is more of a feast or famine player imo

    Who to Captain?

    A) Salah - still a bit of PTSD after last week (C) and against a decent Newcastle team at home

    B) Haaland - Red hot form against newly promoted side at home. Murmurs of benching/early sub. High risk/High Reward

    C) Jesus - Great form at home to a struggling Villa side - differential

    D) Cancelo - Home to newly promoted side that's only scored twice in 4 matches so far

    Was originally tied between A & B, but like C the more I think of it. Added D for a different perspective this week and really don't hate it here.
