As for Arsenal, they are unchanged, with Bukayo Saka shaking off the knock he sustained at Oxford in the FA Cup on Monday.

Remember Roy Keane ripping into the entire Spurs team saying they were all rubbish. Jamie Redknapp defending Spurs players apart from Lloris. He agreed Lloris was pants. Just made a great save. World Cup winner. Opinions I suppose

As pundits go, Jamie Redknapp is a good catalogue jumper model.

I don't rate Redknapp as a pundit. I remember years ago him trying to lecture Gullit and Souness about "winning mentality" after a Champions League match. Souness just looked at Gullit in disbelief.

      Bang average goalkeeper.

One thing I remember from him was scolding son and make the current situation worse at that time.

The reception to Roy Keane in the UK amuses me at times, some people act like what he says is outrageous and he's incredible for speaking so candidly, but really most pundits in Ireland are (or at least were) like that. The suit and tie model of punditry in the UK across most broadcasters makes it a dull affair, listening to Johnny Giles, Eamon Dunphy and Liam Brady tear into anyone (including each other) whenever they felt it was necessary will forever be more interesting. Feels to me like a lot of the more interesting "pundits" seem to be moved towards the corner most of the time

Nobody sticks the boot in quite like Eamon Dunphy.

John Anderson on BBC Radio Newcastle is funny as he doesn't hold back. Everyone is too soft now according to him. It's never a free kick. He's also clear on why he doesn't like certain players.

I find it unbearable to watch anyone going off on tirades or being generally grumpy/angry as a pundit. It just oozes lack of intelligence for me. And it's not whether they are wrong/right or makes a point, it's just so tiresome to see.

So the takeaway is we shouldn't judge teams against their performances against Palace? 😀

Explain Saka assist. It was not shot on goal and hit Sessegnon on the way. Was Sessgnon's touch not significant and is OG always assist despite it coming from a cross/not shot on goal?

      Deemed a shot I guess

Yep. If it was Darwin I would believe it was a shot. With Saka's accuracy I would say it is a cross and deflected from Sessegnon and then og by Lloris.

Has to be the 'significant' part, yep.

It's not like it was finished off by an Arsenal player, it was Saka's cross that was turned in, I didn't think Sessegnon's touch made much of a change to the direction? Maybe I need to see it again

Are you thinking of the assist kulusevski didn’t get a couple of weeks ago?

    5. Paqueta Rice
      • 5 Years

It wasn’t a shot it was a cross. Sessegnons touch didn’t alter the direction of the cross or ‘intended target’. It’s an assist for me and I’m a non owner

It is easier to agree that it was a lucky goal and assist so let's leave it there maybe. 😀
