I have exact money to do:
    - Botman and Alvarez out
    - Toti and Isak in

Should I do the moves tonight or wait for more news?

If I will be priced out then I need to sell Schar instead of Botman.

I’m probably bringing in Trippier for Robbo
I do have money to upgrade March to Bruno

    Steele
    TAA Botman Shaw Robertson
    Salah March Rashford Mitoma
    Haaland Isak

    Iverson Mahrez Fofana Greenwood

Which would you choose for DGW37 and most likely GW38?

    1) Bruno - no Salah
    2) DDG
    3) Lindelof/Dalot

    A) Grealish, Ake
    B) KDB, Ake - no Salah
    C) Grealish, KDB - no Bruno or Salah

Individually, I'd pick 2 & C. But, they contradict each other. I'm not sure how the answers relate to the question

Yeah maybe it’s not that clear but wanted to keep it simple, anyway something like
        DDG Shaw Rash
        Grealish KDB Haaland
        Is easily doable

I think that's how my team will end up for GW37. Only questionable one is losing Salah for pep roulette

Is this a crazy move for 36? Going TRIPLE Newcastle defence and captaining Trippier… so essentially Quad Newcastle defence for the double. Brighton games have been tight and Big Sam will have Leeds playing for 1-0s. Could be a good way to turn around a mini league?

27 points behind ML rival. Both our teams are similar and fairly template. His main differentials are Ederson, Bruno and Botman (I have DDG, Grealish, Watkins and Gabriel). He's already committed on triple Newcastle (Trips, Isak, Botman)

Is the move to make bringing in Wilson for Watkins and putting the armband on Wilson? Running out of gameweeks to close the gap

Would you not start Grealish? The team is very strong as it is, seems a waste to use both your FTs but I suppose you need to if you want to bring Wilson in.

Tricky one I’m wrestling with too

Can’t see a Brighton clean sheet in either but Estu could get an assist

TAA with the lower floor but still a high ceiling

    2 FT, 3.1 itb

    DDG

    Salah - Rashford - Grealish - Mitoma - March
    Haaland - Isak

    Iversen - Shaw - Alvarez - Coufal

I am in the same situation, and I will just go into 36 with two Newcastel players - Trippier and Isak/Wilson. Don't really see upside in spending a transfer to get Botman or Schar when you will then probably not play them in 37 or 38. Having both Isak and Wilson also doesn't feel quite right, so I will gladly play TAA instead of spending a transfer to get a player I later don't need, just because he has a double gameweek (and from a defensive point of view, not that good one either).

      1. agueroooooney
        • 11 Years

I have 2 FT this week as well and I'm fairly well set up for 37, also have a FH to use in 38 so wont need to save any free transfers for that. I have 3 United/Brighton/City plus Salah, Trent and Tripp. If I do Alvarez to Wilson it leaves my last City spot open for 37 with two FTs to decide who to bring in, Alvarez mightn't be the best City asset to have.

        1. Dunster

Almost exact same team as me save I brought in Mahrez for Grealish this week.

Plan was always to FH 37 but now I look at it and think I will be ok, and a FH 38 with some leaked team news / more open pressers might be fun.

As with you sort of thinking Alvarez to Wilson 36 then maybe Salah to KDB 37.

            • 11 Years

Yeah I think the FH38 could be better and also more fun (potentially). Hadn't considered ditching Salah but that could be good actually, I'd have two weeks to decide who my last City asset would be too.

Ditching Salah at home to Villa wise though? I suppose Villa are solid enough defensively are they? As in they won't roll over at least

Yes and Liverpool gone back to 1 nil but with a salah goal admittedly at home.

I think they might do damage at Leicester though. Not as bad as Leeds but they are not great.

Then I will move if kdb is fit but rested against Everton

Or Bruno. I sold grealidh to Bruno today and forgot about the founld Newcastle attack. But I still prefer kdb and Bruno gw37 for salah and Wilson.

Have to suck it up with isak botman and trippier and hope for the best

Again same boat. When I mentally list the pros of doing FH37 instead of 38 one is switching Shaw to Bruno, but it is what it is

Yeah. I have DDG (best keeper on wc26 for me so far) that rarely happen. Kept Rashford and bought Bruno this week. I can only get two city (kdb for salah) or maybe 3 if I sell trippier and roll next week

            2. Dunster
              • 4 Years
              2 years, 9 months ago

Well you would have a midfield 4 doublers (March / Mitoma / Grealish / Rashford) plus Salah (on assumption you want to play him.

So, on basis you want 3 city, you sell Alvarez in 36 you either: (1) buy him back 37; (2) get a city defender (good luck); or (3) replace Salah to go 5 midfield doublers

                • 11 Years

Could do the below and replace Grealish with KDB (more minutes?) then play Trippier after ditching Trent. Would only have 2 City but hopefully the most secure two.

Agreed - but come on, you are dead ending into a GW38 FH so in 37 you want 3 City doublers - go on, you know you do…..

          3. agueroooooney
            • 11 Years

I could actually do TAA + Grealish to 4.5 + KDB and keep Salah for 37, would then play Trippier in 37

    Already got Trippier, Estupinan, Mitoma

Currently thinking Wilson, Joe L (differential)

A Watkins > Wilson or Isak

B Ederson > Steele ( frees up fwd position for 37)

C Martineli > March or Joe Linton

D Chilwell > Schar or Dunk

I think 50-60 but I still believe and I’m 75 points behind. I do have the free hit chip and leader does not so will play that in GW38.
I went KDB Captain this week to try and make a difference. Didn’t pay off but also I didn’t get burnt

Tempted by Schar > 3.8m 3rd bench fodder
    and Watkins > Wilson

Losing Trippier instead seems like a plan doomed to fail.

I can’t even decide if I play all my 6 DGWs, currently benching Botman:

    Ederson
    TAA Trippier Estupinan
    Salah Rashford Fernandes March Mac10
    Isaak Halland

    Kepa Botman Alvarez Henry

Can either play Botman, or get Wilson (-4), but then, who to bench? lol

I may play botman over estupinian unless arsenal are showing signs of giving up

I’d roll it, not a great Dgw to get big scores, everyone has 3x Brighton and Newcastle. Wilson’s really the only differential but not if it means taking a hit and benching Trent..

Probably rolling transfer next week with 6 double week players (assuming no injuries) but Brighton have tough away fixtures against Arsenal and Newcastle so is it worth starting TAA ahead of Estupinan given his record v Leicester?

    Kepa
    Trippier Botman Estupinan
Salah Bruno F Rashford March Mitoma
    Haaland Wilson

    Raya TAA Shaw Greenwood

      * only move might be Botman to Schar fit attack potential?

I am probably doing this. Just think Botman over Estupinian atm.

But will overthink things this week and let you know

Crazy benching Estu with his upside, especially on a double.

Thanks- just the fixtures but you’re right as Botman is no attacking threat

I’m looking at Watkins and Ouatarra to Wilson and Joe Linton -4. Seem ok? Would mean benching one of Mahrez or Gakpo

Why not just Watkins to Wilson?

I’ll be making that move but fear Gakpo or Mahrez (or even Haaland) will be rotated. So it’s an additional double player or roll with a single gw rotation risk player

Thinking of doing Solanke + Martinelli ➡ Isak + Rashford for -4 this gw. Gives me -

    Steele
    Trippier - Shaw - White
    Salah - Rashford - Mitoma - March
    Haaland - Kane - Isak

    Raya - Mahrez - Pinnock - Zouma

    Thoughts? 🙂

Heard Haaland missed like 4 or 5 opportunities?

My rank will tank this week I think... 0.72% green arrow with Steele, Estu, Shaw, Burn, White, Mitoma & Rashford to play! Watkins & Haaland flopped. Kane & Salah providing the goods. Really needed Brentford to score, cost me around 20,000 ranks, Liverpool keeping that CS.

    GW36 conundrum, team then questions;

    Steele²
    Stones, Shaw, Burn²
    Salah, Rashford, Grealish, Mitoma²
    Haaland(c), Kane, Wilson²

    Kepa, Estu, White, Andreas*

    As it stands, but my questions queries;

    A) Steele or Kepa v NOT? - Two tricky away games against teams who both need results, especially Arsenal or Kepa against a Forest side who are poor on the road?
    B) Estupinan benched instead of the rest of the squad, as above, already playing Steele do I want a defensive double up? Maybe bench Stones to start Estu?
    C) 1FT & 1.1ITB, Andreas > Willock, if yes who do I bench, Grealish?

I had Watkins, just swapped him for Wilson tonight, couldn't risk the rise so here is me PRAYING he doesn't get injured tomorrow. I never normally move this early. Bleedin' casuals swapping price points around man.

To summarize many of us will have benching headaches this week with poor Brighton doubles vs premiums' sgw fixtures. If I get Wilson then I'm left benching one of Salah/Rashford/Kane/March/Mitoma.
