Salah, Gakpo, Jota and Diaz all starting, with Sir Boz and Mac Allister. wonder if Gakpo is the most withdrawn?

I've only been watching a few minutes but Jota appears CF and Gakpo sort of a left attacking mid role (Diaz wide left)

Cool thanks. If they are all starting regularly...well. Gakpo is quite a versatile player, might play ahead of Curtis Jones.

Attempt at a no Haaland draft with Salah and Kane:

    Pickford 4.0
    Chilwell Estupinan Gabriel
    Salah Saka Rashford Eze Kulusevski
    Kane Alvarez Pedro

Early WC enables a way in for Haaland whilst also maximising Potential for Salah points GW2!

How many teams actually back up a treble? Surely players get a little lazier in training? Been a bit lazy over the summer etc.

    Anybody got some stats/great knowledge

No, but I reckon City drops off a bit this season (albeit from a very high base). Gundogan and Mahrez gone, Walker and Silva also linked with departures. De Bruyne now 32. They have won everything there is to win. Can't see motivation levels being as high. Then there's the FFP case against them as well.

    First RMT of the year

    Steele
    Colwill, Estupinan, Tarkowski
    Odegaard, Saka, Bruno, Salah, Trossard
    Haaland, Welbeck

    Areloa, Archer, Beyer, Kabore

Defence an obvious risk, but I'm pretty set on 3 Arsenal mids and Welbz

Think 2 premiums is the way for me now, torn between Kane and Salah. Kane more consistent, Salah more explosive.

    Current preference is Kane

    Johnstone
    Chilwell Gabriel Estupinan
    Saka Bruno Martinelli Eze
    Haaland Kane Joao

    Areola Kabore Beyer Anderson

    Dead bench, could do

    Martinelli/Johnstone/Kabore/Bruno

    To

    Mbeumo/Onana/Henry/Rashford

Provided Jota gets through this game uninjured, he will make my starting team.

He's Liverpool's CF at the moment and even though he didn't start consistently, he scored 7 goals in his last 9 games in the league. The season before, or was it the one before that? He had one of the highest PPG of any attacker.

2.8% owned. 8.0m. You want your differentials to have explosive potential and I like him the best out of Foden, Maddison, Grealish and all the 6.5ms.

They get roasted on the weekend if they play this team. MacAllister being their only defensive-minded player is suicide in transition.

Is Pedro nailed on? Welbz and Ferguson aren’t lurking at all?

This is a good question. With the confidence everyone seems to have in Pedro, it makes me think Dat Guy and Fergie Ferg are second and third choice.

West Ham's bid for Maguire was part of a £60m joint bid for him and McTominay

55m for McTominay is a bit much

Why Diaby over someone like Eze?

I just think Villa will be very good this year. Eze has Hodgson play style to deal with

Anyone else struggling with the £4.5m defender bracket?

Probably best to pick someone who can cover for the GWs when your more expensive defenders have initial poor fixtures and you may want to bench them. Botman will be an option later.

Plenty of options at Brentford, Villa and Everton.

        On 3 of them atm:

Tarkowski (seen the injury scare was a precaution)
        Botman GW1, GW5+
        Colwill GW3+
