Supposedly a package worth £70m was suggested and immediately rebuffed so may be unlikely

    Gabriel Chilwell Botman Beyer
    Or
    Gabriel Estup Colwill Udogie

Will likely only ever need two at a time. Want Chilwell, but the trade off in playing 4.5s surely better.

I've seen some discussion on him from Spurs fans and a lot seem to expect he'll at least begin as first choice. I have Saliba and three 4.5 defs so I'm punting on him since I have cover if it goes wrong

By going 3-4-3 I can get much more balanced team overall and better defence instead of 3-5-2 with two 6.5 midfielders. What do you think of this?

    Pickford - Areola
    Chilwell - Gabriel - Estu - 4.0 - 4.0
    Salah - Saka - Bruno - Mbeumo - Chukwuemeka
Haaland - Watkins - Joao Pedro

I believe Chukwuemeka could be an absolute steal at 4.5m if he starts well and gets minutes.

Its what I'll probably do in all honesty. V tempted to switch to Jackson but he's an unknown, so your approach is probably the right one. Looking at your team options the first one is nearly identical to mine too (I have Cash over Mings) and am keeping 0.5 back to enable Estup to Chillwell

After the West Ham wash out in SE Asia why not just do another friendly with a local team on their return?

Pretty basic stuff, organising your own warm up games.

The manager saying they are a couple of friendlies short of gw1 fitness is amateurish.

yeah fair point. My thinking was I don't see a clean sheet for chelsea in the first game (possibly 2nd) and therefore allows me time to look at chilwell and James.

      Apparently he's in.

(I think) but it's injury related.

Even with first choice strikers fit of what they have left they'll struggle to score in the Premier League you'd think.

      So it's appearance points mostly.

When do u think is the earliest we can get an accurate update on Kane?
Would u think if he can play at least the first two game weeks?

    Appreciate your thoughts Thk you.
