Anyone (non-fan) brave enough to admit they're sad enough to stay in and stream Forest vs Blades on a Friday night?

Yeah, really wish it was a slightly better fixture. Not quite worth asking my wife if I can watch.

The fact that it's not being televised somehow makes it even worse too. We're having film night instead.

Gabriel or Kabore to make way for Gusto? Don’t think I can risk saving and hoping Gabriel starts

I have James stones Gabriel and baldock….

Looks like I might not get 11 out so is it worth a -4 to do stones and James to gusto + chilwell?

Might not field 11 without it, that’s the question

Then yeah, getting an extra playing player is one of the few times a -4 can be justified. Good luck.

Having the same dilemma myself, don’t see a CS for them but the hit will save a FT next week, what’s more important? Having 11 this week and a spare FT next week or 10 this week and no hit?

      1. CheesyZoot
        • 6 Years

I think that especially if going to chilwell, the hit can easily be made up this week…

Essentially only a 2 point hit as well if it means you field an extra player… such an annoying situation to be in already!

    Best use of FT?

    Pickford (Virginia)
    Chilwell Shaw Estupinan (Stones, Kabore)
    Bruno Rashford Mitoma Eze Richarlison
    Haaland Watkins (Mubama)

Was planning on keeping Stones and rolling the FT, but have no bench backup now that he’s officially out. Thoughts on best move (if any)?

    A) Gusto
    B) Henry/Baldock
    C) Botman

Does anybody know, how it is supposed to work with the player price rises and falls?

Last season it often looked like some players who were at +100% dropped significantly after the "reset" for the GW deadline. Is this based on new teams entering the competition, WC played, or anything else?

I'm basically wondering if we still might get another 24h to think about Madders and others before they go up.

Predicted price rises or falls are educated guess, that's all.

Some players at times seem to be immune to proce changes.

He mentally retired years ago but teams kept offering him money to train for them, sit on the bench, sporadically get off the bench, run around, do very little and go home after the game. A waste of talent.

Despite the injuries he didn't seem to kill himself trying in some games when getting time off the bench. That's definitely not just Theo Walcott but other professional footballers minding themselves in games rather than giving it all for the team. Walcott always strikes me as being an absolute gent by the way.

No creativity at City. They were rubbish after Kdb went off injured. Rodri was the best player on the pitch vs Burnley.

Newcastle will probably bully Foden this time. Expecting an extremely physical game. City will likely struggle. Having said all these, Captain still on Haaland because he is Haaland.

          • 14 Years

Remember the 1-1 with Everton last season? They bullied City, jibed and hit Haaland to get a reaction and he was nearly sent off? They'll have a similar gameplan but they've a better defence and more attacking threat than Everton.
