    I believe this is the easiest season so far to build a squad in the sense of budget that I remember as there are lack of premium players.

    Kane is gone, KDB is out for some time, TAA doesn't use the set pieces and Lpool's defense is shaky. So there are no premium-priced players apart from Haaland and Salah.

    Usually, the first weeks of the game were about chasing team value but I don't see where to spend the money this year. I know this is the very early stage of the game but even later on if some player will arise I don't see any difficulty to squeeze him due to budget. I mean I remember the days when we were looking for a way to squeeze Suarez - Aguero - Sturridge into the same team. Now the second pricy forward is 8.0

      Agreed.

      I dont think money will be a factor this season.

      Makes it easier and harder at the same time. Lots of underpriced players producing.

      Can afford just about anyone.
      Gotta choose the right ones

      It's because FPL refuse to put players in the correct positions IMO. Salah should be in the same category as Haaland and then others should be priced accordingly too.

      Players are only protected if they go directly from red flagged to available, and price protection is for a week

      James is due to drop tonight

      When a player is injured (0% chance of playing), suspended or on loan his price can still change in value. However, once his status has changed again his price will be "locked".

    Would you switch Gabriel for a city defender (Gvardiol/Akanji) and risk rotation but a strong defence and good fixtures or go for someone like Henry who is more nailed, in a good Brentford defence and also good fixtures?
