Think for me at the moment there's 6 players I want shut of, 7 if Maddison is out.. Foden, March/Mitoma, Ederson.. loads

          • 16 Years
          2 years, 7 months ago

Yeah, I've been thinking of playing it early anyway, and I made the stupid mistake of selling Foden for Maddison to catch the price rise, pre matches, which may need reversing. Either way, I want Foden back.

If Man Utd didn't have NFO I'd already have done it I think. Just not sure who to lose out of Rashford and Salah.

Like Ederson also, or maybe Onana. Fancy a rejig of my bench also. Alvarez/Wissa for Pedro.

Makes sense when inverting Partey on the right and adding an extra player in attack. They have switched it a few times to Martinelli. Tomiyasu at LB hasn't helped with his slow passes though

Spurs could maybe score the most goals this season. But its gonna be how much they concede is the issue. They will get away with it vs weaker or middle teams, but good teams are not going to play into their hands.

They made great depth signings in defence, can rotate Isak & Wilson, Barnes looks lively, Tonali has adjusted well. They're just getting started.

Wilson is injury prone, when he eventually gets injured they are light in that area

Tonali and Barnes are good additions but they need more depth in defence. Prospect of the likes of dummet coming in is scary, they got lucky with injuries defensively last season , more games this season so unlikely to be the case this time round

I could name 2 better at city alone. Albeit peo likes to play one of them behind the striker

              Jesus another one

Alvarez will be better than Isak but he isn’t right now, especially as an out-and-out 9. Haaland is the obviously the reason why I said “second best.” Jesus is not better than him.

Nothing to suggest Isaak is better than Jesus. Jesus is not a great finisher but a very good player overall.

If you're just basing it on last season where Isaak has a very small sample size anyway I could throw in toney too but I'd still take Isaak over him

Isak had 1 less goal than Jesus in 500 fewer minutes last season in a worse team.

Simply picking numbers doesn't tell whole story but if you go that route Isaak scored 6 goals the season before in a team that finished 6th in la Liga

Also probably inferior to Ivan toney too who plays for a worse team just basing it on numbers

Toney is currently suspended and a huge amount of his goal tally is made up of pens.

He is the reason why I said “arguably”

Wilson also better than toney no based on last year's numbers. He clearly isn't but just shows how silly the number argument is

He’s the second best striker on his team…

Are you talking fantasy position or actual strikers?

              Salah/Jota, Mitrovic, Jesus, Rashford

                Real life.

Rashford. Salah and Jota aren’t strikers, Mitrovic isn’t in the league anymore, he’s better than Jesus (and Wilson)

If you're talking about real life than Jesus vs Isaak really is a no brainer don't be ridiculous. Jesus is a level above. Maybe two

He looks to be but very small sample size. He had one very good season in Spain but managed 6 goals in 30+ appearances in his final season. Certainly not on the level of ars or city first choice strikers yet
